@DiRealShaggy’s “Boombastic” Featured In New @Chase Commercial!

Feeling like it’s 1995 again, “Mr. Lover Lover” a.k.a. Shaggy, had a song featured in one the latest commercials for US Banking giant, JP Morgan Chase Bank. The Commercial, promoting planning for Retirement, featured Shaggy’s 1995 hit, “Boombastic (Get It Here)” which provided the soundtrack to the 30 second clip. The single was previously featured in a 2015 Tide Commercial from the Philippines and has come a long way since being featured in a Commercial for Levi’s Jeans. “Boombastic” was the 2nd track and single off Shaggy’s Grammy winning album of the same name which went on to sell over a million copies in the US. Jamaica has made it to American late night television again thanks to Recording Artist, Shaggy. Here he made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In this section, he participated in a special battle named “Shaggy Off” where he and regular Higgins would each determine who’s the better Shaggy. NEW MUSIC: @IAmChronixx – Play Some Roots

Despite the controversy last week, there’s no denying that Chronixx makes great music and it’s evident in his latest offering. Titled “Play Some Roots” and produced by Silly Walks Discotheque on the Ram Jam Riddim, the Dread and Terrible artist gives us the type of music that’ll get you off your feet and starting skanking. NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @BusySignal_Turf

Taking a page out of Shaggy’s book is Dancehall artist Busy Signal. Starting his own foundation, he aims to help the people of St. Ann, his birth parish. Recently he spoke with Onstage TV’s Jason Williams about it and more. Here he spoke on his “Helping Hands” foundation and the progress so far, setting up a benefit concert, aiming to expand it to other parishes, encouraging more people to follow in his footsteps and contribute, and working on new music.
