PRESS RELEASE: @SielleMusic Collaborates With @DuttyPaul On “Easy Mistake”

Toronto based chanteuse, Sielle, has collaborated with Sean Paul on her recent release entitled, “Easy Mistake”. Laced under a heavy dancehall crossover rhythm, Sielle’s silky voice delivers smooth lyrics, melodies and harmonies.  Interwoven throughout the record, Sean Paul rides the rhythm with catchy hooks and verses. The synergy between Sielle and Sean Paul is a chemistry designed to make a world hit.

Produced by hit-makers, Matthew “Esco” Thompson; 957 Muzik and Smokin Acez Media, “Easy Mistake” is an appealing tune that will have the summer buzzing.  The song, written by Sielle, captures a love story based on a couple engulfed in a steamy relationship. Captivated by her man, Sielle wants to make amends. But she must move on, because love becomes a burden.  She knows that loving him is such an easy mistake, yet Sean Paul tries to sway her direction. Easy Mistake is a record that most people can relate to.

From the age of 5, Sielle has been trained in classical music and attended performing arts schools. Her passion for music led her to produce, write and perform, honing her own sound. This has allowed her to claim a presence across different genres of music to include pop, reggae, folk, classical, opera, and R&B.

Growing up in Little Burgundy, Montreal and being exposed to a plethora of cultures, Sielle is bilingual and sings in French. She has performed at Nappa Valley’s Bottlerock Festival 2014 and in 2015, where Jim Peterik featured her on hit song Eye of the Tiger.  She also did Montreal Reggae Festival two years in a row, smaller festivals and clubs throughout Canada. Previously released songs, include Little Girl, Change You, Runaway and Together which was penned by the legendary David Pack of Ambrosia.

Although Sielle’s sound is characterized as alternative soul; this collaboration has allowed her a chance to tap into her Jamaican roots to deliver a masterpiece.  “I want to touch people with my music, my music is a dairy, what I feel, what I have been feeling throughout my life,” explains Sielle with hopes of changing lives through her music.

However, working with Sean Paul on “Easy Mistake”, has had a major impact on Sielle.  This collaboration has allowed her to go into her Jamaican roots with all of her life’s experience as an artist to deliver a masterpiece.  The goal is to propel into the international market that is ready to accept another musical star named Sielle.

PRESS RELEASE: The @ParadiseLostJam Crew Invades The North Coast

With only a few months to go, Jamaica will host its first EDM Festival with a premium first world production according to Rolling Stones Magazine, dubbed “Paradise Lost”, the event is focused on bringing EDM fans to the home of Dub Music that inspired its creation. CBS Radio Station KROQ broke the news that Paradise Lost sold out of presale tickets in 3 days and sources say Paradise Lost has also broken all presale records of tickets sold in Jamaica which prompted their overseas tech team NBBL. Inc to purchase two new servers to accommodate the overwhelming traffic to the paradiselostjamaica.com website in anticipation of January ticket sales.

NBBL Co-founder Nick Cane “We are ready as our servers will accommodate up to 400,000 people hitting the site at once which should more than cover PLF2016 traffic. We are up for the challenge, the NBBL team is 150% behind Paradise Lost team, and we are all a big family now”. Recently Organizers of the event launched a “Visit Paradise” Campaign visiting some of the most beautiful places in Ocho Rios which is also the home of Paradise Lost, to capture intimate moments with the people who define the great city. One such stop was Evita’s Italian Jamaican Restaurant, where the team met with owner Evita, and sat down for dinner while they discussed the history of the Restaurant, its delicious food, and the “secret” that attracts people for around the world to this beautiful oasis.

“It isn’t only about the event, we’ve built Paradise Lost with a focus on patrons having a true Jamaican experience and that starts with our people. We want the world to be introduced to the power of Jamaican love and how it defines the paradise we live in, and story tellers like Evita make it all worth it. It’s all about the experience we intend to tour the Island and capture the true essence of Jamaica even the coconut man chopping a cold coconut is an experience in itself.” quoted Debbion Smith of Smokin Acez Media Consultants, head of local Public Relations for Paradise Lost.

This marks the first of the Paradise Lost team’s three-part journey to cover the entire Island. The team intends on customizing an experience for their patrons by introducing them to all the treasures Jamaica has to offer. As a part of the promotional Campaign, the team visited attractions such as Dunns River, Dolphin Cove, Evita’s Italian Restaurant, Konoko Falls, and the attraction known popularly as Blue Hole, now known as Island Gully Falls and more. Immediately after Christmas, the team will be on the road hunting for more hidden treasures. So far, sales trends saw patrons choosing Kingston as a destination of arrival so the team intends to highlight Kingston via the Bob Marley Museum, Devon House, and the history of the Sound System culture.

This event promises to be an exciting one as it is the first of its kind in the Island. Paradise Lost will take place March 10-12, 2016 at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove, St. Ann, with headliners such as Bass Nectar, Tiesto, Dub Music legend King Jammy’s, AlunaGeorge, Felix Jaehn, Big Gigantic, and many more.

Casablanca Records will curate a luxurious Beachfront stage which will feature; Caroline D’Amore, Gazzo and Prince Fox amongst other Casablanca recording artists.

Jamaican and legendary Dub producer, King Jammy commented, “I feel great about EDM coming to Jamaica because most people don’t know it originated here. I am not just an innovator I am a fan and for my performance I’m going to perform never before heard tracks with a back-to-the future effect while mixing live on stage. I listen to artists like Bassnectar and it makes me feel good that the dream is still alive and being built upon by today’s talented artists.”

The pristine 135 acre at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in St Ann, will form the backdrop of Paradise Lost while offering camping and glamping in Tent City (which will be opened March 5th through the 15th). The location was chosen because of the natural beauty of the land, but more significantly its rich cultural history. St Ann is the birthplace of Bob Marley, Marcus Garvey, Burning Spear, and Shabba Ranks. It was there that Lee Scratch Perry discovered the Wailers (giving prominence to Marley and Peter Tosh). St Ann is also the burial place of Marley – who was laid to rest there in his family’s mausoleum.

Dub-Music will mark its 50th anniversary in 2016. The music form which was started in Waterhouse, Kingston, eventually led to a new form of music called “Electric Dance Music” – a phrase coined by Lee Scratch Perry, in June 2015. In speaking about the connection between EDM and Jamaica, Billboard wrote, “EDM DJs that dissect and otherwise manipulate their tracks while playing live are following an innovation established by the brilliant Jamaican engineer, sound system owner/selector, the late King Tubby. While working as a disc cutter for Duke Reid and using a two-track recording console, Tubby eliminated vocal and instrumental segments, sometimes stripping a song down to a single, thunderous bass line, which he embellished with echo and reverb effects, in a process called Dub.”

“Jamaica is the entertainment mecca of the Caribbean,” said Jason Hall, Deputy Director of Tourism, Cruise, Attractions and Events. “The island offers diverse festive options to both locals and visitors alike. Jamaicans the world over, are proud of our musical heritage. Our music producers and artists are inventors and trendsetters, with one such innovation being Dub Music (Dub-Step), the precursor to Electric Dance Music. The Jamaica Tourist Board is pleased that Caribbean Trans Media has seen it fit to bring the music back to its birthplace, Jamaica.”

Paradise Lost also offers exciting and fun-filled Spring Break activities including: beachfront camping and bonfires, boat rides, fireworks display, Parasailing, Banana Boat Rides and other activities. In addition, over 50 local and international vendors will create “Paradise Village”, a culinary hub. Paradise Lost is also proud to offer its attendees excursions to local attractions such as the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls, as well as a tour of St. Ann to include a visit to Nine Mile, Bob Marley’s birthplace and resting-place. Event partner and Paradise Lost spokesperson Jason Newman said at a recent press conference, “Paradise Lost will host 75,000 visitors ages 18-49 over the three day period, and as for the economic impact the event will bring to Jamaica, an estimated 2300 jobs will accompany the festival with millions of dollars in revenues being generated. We are thrilled to bring tourists to the island and bring Jamaican culture and hospitality to the festival community.” Paradise Lost will be the ultimate EDM festival in Jamaica – the unforgettable destination, featuring electrifying music, enriching Jamaican experiences hosted in a highly secured and friendly environment.
