SYDON REPRESENTS WATERFORD WITH ‘MONEY MI WAH’

Kingston, Jamaica – Dancehall recording artiste Sydon from Portmore has released the single ‘Money Mi Wah’ on the Life Triangle Riddim produced by DJ Rhome. The artiste who is popular in the Waterford community has been creating waves and has even become an inspiration for other young acts. “It’s all about being a role model and showing others that it’s okay to aspire to do great things” shared Sydon.

The artiste who created waves this summer at The Famous Night Club for the Portmore Star Competition shared that the single, which is distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital, is all about his life in the ghetto. The song speaks about money as the root of all evil and implores youths to find ways to work hard and not depend on ‘easy money’. The management team for Sydon, Mystro Music shared “Sydon is a very versatile artiste and he has good messages usually addressing issues in his community of Waterford”.

Sydon is also a part of the collaboration entitled ‘Di Streetz’ featuring several Waterford artistes which came as a result of his connections to Taylor Made Events and PR Management. “Di Streetz and Money Mi Waan are two songs that speak to life in Waterford and I believe that my voice is the voice of the youths here” added Sydon. “The video for Di Streetz will be out soon and we will be working with Ramon Lindsey on a video for Money Mi Wah” shared, Sydon’s Management Team.

The young star has been receiving radio support and is set to embark on several media tours and he is eager to release his first official video.

@OnstageTV Interviews @EscoDaShocker

Esco

Known for churning out hits of his own, Esco has done what many have tried to do for years, and that’s get Bounty Killa and Beenie Man on a song together. Tonight on Onstage, Esco spoke about that experience and making the collaboration possible, a documentary for the collaboration, his other productions, proclaiming there’s no beef with former collaborator Leftside, and future projects. Short interview but to the point, I got to give Esco and his StarStruck team their props for making this overdue effort possible. I’m definitely looking forward to the documentary and for those who haven’t heard the “Legendary” single, check it out here. NEW MUSIC: @RaineSeville – Chat Mi

RS1

What a “Bam bam” today! Keeping out of the way of naysayers and idlers is Dancehall artist Raine Seville with “Chat Mi“. The single, produced by JJ Wizzle (SunCity 104.9FM), samples the popular “Bam Bam Riddim” made famous by Chaka Demus & Pliers and other artists. On the track we hear Raine getting at those who keep her name in their mouths and speak ill of her and lets them know that she’s too humble, too sexy, and too busy to let them damage her career. She also encourages ladies out there to follow her footsteps in never letting people get them down. A great effort here as Raine did her thing on the Riddim and this could be an anthem for many out there. Look out for more of her music coming soon and follow her on Twitter/IG at @RaineSeville! Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Miss Str8

Miss Str8 is the hot newcomer to the dancehall circuit. Based in Austria, where she has made a name for herself and has performed alongside top dancehall superstars, she’s now looking forward to acquire the same prominence in the country of her birth.

She is ready with a strong desire for that mainstream acceptance from the global capital of reggae and dancehall music, Jamaica.

The recording artiste obtained the moniker, Miss Str8, from her candid personality. “Though I’m a very jovial person, I am very straightforward with a zero tolerance when disrespect comes in. I am a focused musician and that’s extremely important in this male-dominated industry, in order to be a respected female performer, “she explained.

Her debut single, Nuh Care, was released in 2010. This presented opportunities to showcase her remarkable stage presence. Ultimately, she was able to demonstrate her prowess in not only singing but her dancing abilities as well. The songs Summertime,Stay Strong and Bad Nuh followed and became well known in most European countries, creating a strong fan base for the singer primarily in Austria, Germany and Italy.
