@DMedzMusic Made His Presence Felt At @ReggaeSumfest 2016!


Reggae Recording Artist D-Medz made a great first impact at Reggae Sumfest held at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay recently. The Artist, signed to EppJam Production, performed several of his more popular singles that spoke to encouraging youths. He also called 3 children including his daughter on stage to sing along his youth empowerment single, ‘Champion’.

D-Medz also surprised the audience and media through his music that was filled with all positive messages. The ‘Empower’ Artist was then met with open arms by the Hon. Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grangem the Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports, and the Most Honorable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica back stage at the show. D-Medz said “I felt elated to be in the presence of such great leaders. They were very impressed with my message and it reminded me that positivity does pay”.

On the other hand the Artist released the video for his new single ‘Nuh Falla (Bad Company)’ on the ‘Real Rock Riddim’. The single was produced by Rural and speaks to encouraging youths to avoid peer pressure and embracing positivity. D-Medz is known for singles such as ‘Champion’ that was used as a theme song on the youth empowerment programme ‘Talk Up Yout’, ‘No Vote’ and ‘Rebel Souljah’ from his EP titled “Empower”.

@TheRealCrazyHype, @OceanaOfficial Receive Great Reviews For “MVP”


With the release of their new single titled ‘MVP’, Recording Artistes Crazyhype and Oceana have been receiving great reviews both locally and Internationally. ‘MVP’ on the ‘Loxmyth Riddim’ is produced by DJ Crooks Music based in Los Angeles but has received positive feedback in Latin America, Europe, and the Caribbean.

‘MVP’ was initially a dance created by Crazyhype and the remaining M.O.B group. He said, “This dance is popular; it’s very easy to learn; several local and International groups have posted their personal choreographed videos online and they’ve been receiving great reviews”. One of the highlights of the video for the collaboration shot by video director Nordia Rose in Payne Land, Kingston was the featuring of Recording Artiste Bounty Killer dancing alongside several dancers.

Since the release of the video, both artistes have performed in Hollywood, Barcelona and Taiwan. They have also garnered the support of International recording artistes such as The Game, Jovi Rockwell and Kreesha Turner who all turned out to watch their performance in Hollywood. @DarrioMusik Addresses Leaked Photo And Rumors!


Recording Artiste Darrio cleared the air after rumors began to circulate that the former Subkonshus Artiste was beaten and rushed to Hospital. This came after a picture emerged on Social Media showing him seemingly unconscious. He is now making it clear to all his fans that this was never a publicity stunt. He said, “These photos were taken by persons on set of my video shoot and posted online by them. They look real as I was acting for the video but I never told anyone to post that I was beaten up or anything to that nature”. PR agent for the Artiste, Talisa Taylor of Taylor Made Events and PR Management said “Darrio does not need any added pressure now. He has just lost someone close to him. I would appreciate if persons give him the time to grieve”. Darrio who was on set of the video shoot for his new single ‘Just for Living’ produced by Dameon Gayle released several statements since the photos surfaced making it clear that the photos were simply misunderstood.

The ‘Friends With Benefits’ Deejay is fully focused on his musical career and is looking forward to the release of the new video and more music. Darrio added “Not everyone is desperate enough to create controversy to be recognized. Badd Indyan Showcases Lyrical Side On “Destroy 80”


Recording Artiste Badd Indyann exercises his lyrical potency with his new viral video for the single ‘Destroy 80’. The ‘Game Head’ artiste speaks to his love for music and him being the ‘New Era Lyricist’. The song produced by Garrison Inc Production quotes Indyann singing: “Lyrically me savvy with a creative energy; it’s like a bond with di music but it’s more than chemistry; stratospherical connections with d stars and galaxy”.

The single has been receiving a lot of online support and mixed commentary. Badd Indyann said “I did a song called Game Head that has been doing well underground and this opened my eyes to a new fan base but Destroy 80 is a more hardcore Dancehall single”. Badd Indyann added that he is ready to start promoting in the streets of Jamaica where he is made aware his music is being supported.

Another most recent successful single for Badd Indyann is entitled ‘Game Head’ on the ‘Press Gas Riddim’ produced by Eldoh Rado Production based in Montego Bay, Jamaica. With over 200,000 views the video for the single was shot by OCM Productions which features the Artiste in bed with a female model playing video games and getting intimate. Badd Indyann is now back on the promotional trail to promote ‘Destroy 80’ and soon after his follow-up single ‘World Travel’ produced by Ehvenz Production. He said “Based on the success of ‘Game Head’, I am eager to get back to work to make Destroy 80 a success”. RR Changes Name To @RREOfficial After Gaining International Attention


Recording Artiste Renee Reid popularly known as RR has now changed her name to ‘Rre’ (pronounced Ree). The Rev Out Di RR Singer is signed to John John Music Group and has garnered the interest of an oversees label. Shelly-Ann Curran of John John Music Group said “This change is long overdue but it is a part of a re-branding initiative for Rre”.

Rre recently released her collaboration with Devin Di Dakta known as Rev Out Di RR produced by Christopher Birch for Birchill Music on the ‘Moskato Riddim’. Rre said “I am truly excited to take my career to the next level; I have two new Dancehall tracks that I will be releasing soon titled Every Head Turn and One Girl Army so look out for those”.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Rre was exposed to music and dance at a tender age. She has performed on several major stages and is ready to cross over with her new single Every Head Turn. The single produced by Sham of Real Records Label in the United Kingdom is on the ‘Hardcore Riddim’. Rre and her management group are now on the promotional trail and will begin media runs next week. @SingerFabian’s “Truth” Sparks Online Buzz!


Cashflow Recording Artiste Fabian has been receiving mixed reactions online for the single ‘Truth’ produced by Psy-en-tiz from New York. The single which quotes Fabian’s Alter Ego, “Alkaline a run Dancehall an we all know a di truth dis… how teacha fi run Dancehall being incarcerated…” has received over 600,000 views since its release on YouTube.

Several Bloggers, Selectors, and Dancers have posted clippings of the video on their Instagram pages inclusive of Dancehall Queens Sher and Latesha. Fabian said, “As a young Artiste it’s hard for me to get my respect so I have to demand it especially as a Singer. This song shows a more hardcore Dancehall side of me and I have been receiving a lot of good feedback”. The Artiste who has been with Cashflow Records for over 5 years has been pushing barriers when it comes to his music.

Fabian who is known for his collaboration with Digicel Rising Star Winner Tash in 2011 titled ‘It’s In The Books’, released another song called ‘Nah Give Up’ on the ‘Psalms 91 Riddim’ which was produced by Cashflow Records. Fabian said, “I have great songs but they were often times not supported, but my single the Truth is currently creating a buzz within the Entertainment Industry”. The Artiste believes that he needed to step outside of just being a ‘Singer’ to now creating lyrics that he describes as ‘head turning’.
