Today’s Monday for many, but it’s also known as the first day of a stressful week. There aren’t many fans of Monday in the working world, and the day has gotten such a bad reputation, that there were petitions to not make it a work day. Antiguan Soca Diva Claudette Peters shares the same sentiment, but she needs herself some time off so she can get back to being the Diva she is. In her words, she needs a “Mental Day“.

Produced by ChippyG and Brukway Production, Claudette Peters is stressed out, and she shares what she’d really like to do on “Mental Day”. With the Antigua Carnival season gearing up for a hot Summer, Peters wants to dance, get on bad, and enjoy life the way she should. Work causes many to be fed up, so having time off helps to give the person a chance to recharge, and with the way how our Mental Health has been over the past few years, we all need a break. UK Hip Hop duo Young T & Bugsey are ready for the next stage of their careers where they conquer more territories, and connect with new listeners. They enjoyed viral and platinum success in the early 2020s with the single, “Don’t Rush” and platinum success with “Strike A Pose” and “Ay Caramba“. They seek to take the Summer by storm, and they take to the Islands with “Rio Grande“.

With a Director Kay-directed Music Video, Young T & Bugsey take a trip to Jamaica for some good vibes in “Rio Grande”. Living it up as Tourists, they enjoy the Sun, the sea, the atmosphere, and the herb as they find themselves in various locations. “Rio Grande” was produced by Young T, and it samples Sizzla Kalonji’s “Solid As A Rock” single. The track was produced by Bobby “Digital” Dixon a.k.a. “Digital B”, and was featured on the 2002 album, “Da Real Thing“. “Solid As A Rock” was previously sampled by Jay-Z, Ja Rule, Papoose, 50 Cent, and The Jacka. Young T & Bugsey are currently campaigning “Rio Grande”, and we can expect even more from them later this year. Time for some vibes.
