NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @IAmKhago

KhagoKhago was been hailed as one of Dancehall Music’s most promising acts. Releasing popular singles, Khago was a force to be reckoned with. However after management changes, Khago wasn’t as present on the scene as he should be so on Onstage he explained his situation to Winford Williams and more. He spoke about being lowkey, changes in management, touring, being a high demand overseas, his views on Dancehall currently, and preparing to flood the streets with new material. Khago is pretty busy overseas and that is good for promoting Jamaica’s music culture. As he said, check out youtube for tour highlights. IS

Many can recall last year when DJ Foota Hype and Singer IShawna were riding on the wave off news of their engagement. Since then they have broken off their engagement and terminated their long term relationship. Tonight on Onstage, IShawna says that she “Needs Love“. She spoke about her breakup with Foota Hype, furthering her career, still working with DownSound Records, and future projects. IShawna also premiered the music video for “Need Love“. Good to see IShawna still working and not letting her recent breakup affect her. I do hope things work out for her soon. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

CMWith the news of legal issues affecting many Jamaican artists, many have either spent time in jail or have had their belongings confiscated. One of the artists to be affected with legal issues is singer Christopher Martin. Tonight on Onstage he explained his ordeal, cleared up rumors, declared his innocence, working out with Usain Bolt, and working on upcoming musical projects including his album “Stepping Razor“. While it’s unfortunate that many entertainers are going through troubles, it’s good that Chris has stepped onto public domain to clear up things. It can only get better. LSTonight on Onstage, Lady Saw shared a few words with Winford Williams. Here she spoke about her “Infidelity” single with Bugle and their experiences (See video below), her performance at Sting 2013 and reasons for regretting it, working with rapper Flo-Rida, stepping away from the music scene for a short while which included going to church overseas, being a victim of internet hackers (Twitter and Facebook), new projects including music with Markus Myrie, and family life. It’s unfortunate that Lady Saw was hacked but I’ll be looking forward to her new material. John John is here to stay. Check out the videos below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

TTWith Vybz Kartel seeing life in prison, many members of the music fraternity expressed their thoughts on the situation. Twin of Twins however expressed that Kartel was used as a scapegoat and they went on Onstage to further expound on that and more. Here they spoke about violence in Jamaica, the justice system, encouraging the media to promote positive things and stop bashing Dancehall music, and their new project which includes an extension of their “Stir It Up” series. Not a bad interview here, the twins have always spoken out against many things that happen in society whether in interviews or through their mixtape, and encouraging upliftment of the people.
