Rhiya Luna Deals With Betrayal On “Believed You”

Rhiya Luna is back with more music, and we know you’re gonna enjoy it all. Last month, she announced that she will be releasing a new project in celebration of her birthday. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the project was not ready in time. Nothing to be sad about though as Rhiya still has more music in the stash for your listening pleasure. An EP is also on the way so gear up for that. To hold fans over, she revealed a new single called, “Believed You“.

Produced by VoxGad Music and released through Nuh Response Production, Rhiya Luna gets bold on the new track as she confronts a partner who has been betraying her trust. Some listeners may be pleasantly surprised by her delivery here, but if you knew her from her days as “Shie“, then you hear hints of that. Nonetheless, expect Rhiya Luna’s upcoming music to have a little more aggression, and her songwriting skills being taken to another level. Check out some of her previous offerings here, and if you want some “Shie”, look here.

@DreggaeMusic Takes The Ring Off In “Boom Box”!

Dreggae has been popping up at various venues this year and giving listeners a dose of his signature style of Dancehall/Reggae music. Today, he fires off a brand new single titled “Boom Box“. Here he plays the role of a married man playing the cheating game, he recaps on the various times he has made the moves with his lady love while keeping the Wife at bay. From the initial meeting to excuses about doing overtime at the studio, Dreggae makes it clear that her “Boom Box” is the loudest. Interesting selection from the lyrical Artist. NEW MUSIC: @IAmTheKartel x @ItsToian – Ice Queen

Today’s new music comes from the “World Boss“, Vybz Kartel and Singer Toian joins him. Titled “Ice Queen” and produced by TJ Records, they both take the R&B route here as they talk about infidelity and what they’ve done to each other. Interesting track here, it’s still crazy how many tracks have been released this year from Vybz Kartel and with Toian burning up the airwaves with “Rude Boys“, this single can go pretty far. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @LadySawDHQueen

LSTonight on Onstage, Lady Saw shared a few words with Winford Williams. Here she spoke about her “Infidelity” single with Bugle and their experiences (See video below), her performance at Sting 2013 and reasons for regretting it, working with rapper Flo-Rida, stepping away from the music scene for a short while which included going to church overseas, being a victim of internet hackers (Twitter and Facebook), new projects including music with Markus Myrie, and family life. It’s unfortunate that Lady Saw was hacked but I’ll be looking forward to her new material. John John is here to stay. Check out the videos below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

OLDIES SUNDAY: @GrungGaadZilla x @ABarringtonLevy – Living Dangerously (1995)

In recognition of Bounty Killa’s recent award presented to him by the Jamaica Star for “Dancehall Achievement” and Barrington Levy’s release of his first album in 20 years, “Licensed To Thrill“, I’ve decided to post their most popular collaboration. Titled “Living Dangerously” and produced by JahScrew in 1995, both artists talk about  a woman who has done them wrong by committing infidelity and she lives a dangerous life. They also advise her on what will happen when they leave, and she must better herself before it goes real bad for her. This was a great combination of Bounty Killa’s commanding voice and hard lyrics, and Barrington Levy’s signature crooning.
