Masicka Drops Visual For “Overdose”

Whenever Dancehall Artist Masicka is regularly releasing content, that means a project is on the way, right? The year has been enjoying a number of drops from the Deejay, and we wouldn’t mind a new album. Seeing that Summer is almost here, he’s securing his spot in the season’s soundtrack. Earlier, he premiered the video for the single, “Overdose“.

Directed by Shane Creative, Masicka aims for the ladies with the video for the track, “Overdose”. The Deejay shares his love for the ladies as usual, but this Woman has a hold on him that he can’t help but want more of. The visual may find some of the Female viewers wanting to be the replacement to his co-star, and will recreate their own scenarios throughout. Expect to hear this track in many Social Media posts in the coming days. Ladies love the 1Syde Boss.

Directed by WaveGod, we are tuned in to an episode of “Cheaters” with King Cruff being the host in the video for, “Bunch”. He gets into Investigation mode as we watch a young Woman who has her suspicions about her Man being unfaithful. Cruff gets on the case instantly, conducting surveillancing duties, taking notes, and getting to the truth at all costs. Produced by !llmind, Don Mills, and Brandon Leger with a sampling of Shabba Ranks’ “Mr. Loverman” hit, Cruff brings some great vibes on the track, paying specific attention to the ladies who are in need of their lover man. It’s A Full Circle Moment For @TheRoyalBlu & @Protoje With “Life From Kingston” Release

The 2010s saw the rise of Reggae Artist Protoje, and he helped to usher in what some would call the “Reggae Revival“. His music not only connected with the people, but inspired others to want to be a part of the new music revolution. One of those aspiring Artists was Royal Blu. The Spanish Town native entered the scene with his own style, and built a following. He became a part of a new class, and he continues to keep his fire burning. This year, he looks to release his debut album, “Spain Root“. Recently, he fueled the rollout with the release of, “Life From Kingston“.

Produced by RiddimBoss and featuring Protoje, it’s a full circle moment for Royal Blu with the release of, “Life From Kingston”. Blu was one of a number of young Artists Protoje had under his wing, giving him guidance, and showcasing his talent to a new audience in the early years. One of those times was at the event called, “Live From Kingston” in the 2010s. There were times where they should’ve collaborated, but now is the right time for just that. The song speaks on the Artists’ history together, recognizing their respective journeys, and giving thanks as their have made their own impact on the world. The two would join forces in a Shane Creative-directed Music Video, and viewers familiar with both can finally witness them in their element on the new collaboration. Royal Blu’s “Spain Root” album is expected to drop on June 27, while we’re on the lookout for Protoje announcing a new album sometime this year.

Internet Personality/Recording Artist Prince Guava o/c Guava continues to expand his brand  in the Jamaican scene. When he’s not making people laugh from his many skits, he’s making music and securing brand deals. Earlier this year he released his debut EP, “Energy“, but recently he dropped the video for the single, “Aye“.

Directed by Saii Media Group and shot in Mandeville, Prince Guava finds himself in a bit of trouble in the video for, “Aye”. With Producer Steel Chest playing the role of a Police Officer, tickets are being issued, and fines are demanded to be paid here. The video has its funny moments, and those familiar will keep this on repeat. “Aye” has gained a lot of popularity for Guava since its release in 2024, and with the video giving it new life, maybe he can take it on the road this Summer. There are times in a relationship where conflict arises, and it can get really bad. If that person is worth, you’ll find a resolution. For Guyanese Recording Artist Rémar, he’s on a mission to get the love back in a better place. He’s on the move to fix things in the video for the single, “Good Intentions“.

Produced by Ridwaan Records and featuring Nigy Boy, Rémar is on a mission to get his Queen back in, “Good Intentions”. In a video co-directed with Jonathan Beepat, the Artists are working out ways for Rémar to get his lady on the good side as she made an effort to visit him and spend more time with him, but work and other things got in the way, taking things to frustrating levels. Rémar and Nigy deliver well here, and for those needing an R&B/Dancehall vibe, “Good Intentions” should be on your Playlist. Sometimes you need a good song to win your lover back.

Upcoming Dancehall Artist Wynta has been making moves to ensure his name reaches more people and places this year. He has high hopes in becoming a major name on the scene, and his releases have been attracting more people to join his movement. His breakout moment draws near, and it may happen now with the release of the video for the single, “Mula“.

Directed by Quan, Wynta is on a mission to get more money in the video for, “Mula”. The TopRanks Entertainment-produced track finds the Deejay sharing his money aspirations, and is living it up with his money-getting peers. The goal is to get rich beyond measure, and Wynta is putting in the work to achieve this and more. While he works on his forthcoming debut EP, Wynta has been making connections online, and even linked up with DJ AG Online during his Jamaica trip earlier this year.
