We nuh waan no duppy round wi! Today’s new music comes from the BadaBada Gang member Timberlee. Titled “Duppy” and produced by WileTunes/BadaBada Gang on the “Dutty Fowl Riddim“, we hear Timberlee letting us know why she was off scene for a while, being loyal to her team, living her life and never letting negative people and energy trouble her or stopping her progress. She came back with a bang as she sounds like she’s ready to shake up the airwaves. Great production and this sounds like it could be a hit in a short amount of time. What do you think? Today’s episode of Onstage also featured Reggae artist Tarrus Riley. Here he spoke about the media not giving much attention to the revival of the One Drop Reggae movement, his dislike for Dancehall and Reggae being shown as rivals rather than being equals in various aspects in the media, his performance and experience at the Authur Guinness Day concert, wanting Reggae and its other forms to get more respect locally, his recent tour, and performing with Snoop Lion on separate stages. Interesting interview that ended on a great note. I do hope lots of changes are made in the future
