Produced by Autobamb Records and Grey Hut Production, Alkaline shares that he has made a lot happen for himself, and you can’t deny that he has been elevating his career and lifestyle in the 10+ years since his debut. He changes the delivery a little on “Mek Tingz Happen”, for those who still doubt him, check his numbers, and look at his past events including his yearly staging of “New Rules“. Tech giant Apple has always been one of the leading companies when it comes to new devices. From the iPhones, to Macbooks, to Airpods, the company has contributed to the way people consume content, and made tasks easier. Earlier today, they launched new devices as a part of their “Wonderlust” September event. While the public will have new tech to spend money on, Apple launched a new campaign for their Apple Watch line featuring a familiar sound. It was none other than Gospel Artist Jermaine Edwards, viral sensation Rushawn Ewears, and Production duo Trinix’s “Beautiful Day (Remix)“.

“Beautiful Day” was originally recorded and released by Jermaine Edwards in 2014, but was given new life when a 2017 video of a young Rushawn Ewears reciting the song made a series of appearances on Social Media in late 2022/early 2023, and numerous remixes were made which included a version done by Trinix. To date, Trinix’s version of “Beautiful Day” has surpassed 45 Million views on Youtube, and the popularity of the viral videos and remixes helped to secure a Sony Music UK deal for Edwards, and opportunities for Ewears. Apple’s new campaign highlights the many times the Apple Watch has helped people who have had health issues, sharing a few stories throughout, and them celebrating birthdays in their respective homes. The “Beautiful Day” remix was used for the soundtrack, and will definitely boost the profiles of everyone involved.

There has been a demand for more “gyal tunes“. The ladies have been complaining that Dancehall is being catered to the Choppas and the Gangstas, and they need the music that they can wine and bubble to. The duo of Dash D and KinDah a.k.a. Friday Night Cru step up to fix things with the new single, “Tek Time“.

Produced by Ransom Beatz, Friday Night Cru will have the ladies breathing a sigh of relief as “Tek Time” will get them moving. Even though the chorus says “tek time“, ladies are free to bruk out in every way to the tune, and bring back the vibe they missed when the parties would be playing gyal tunes all night. Accompanying the single is a Adam Armond-directed video that features Dancer/Personal Trainer Francisca Griffiths getting flashy with the moves with the duo in a Yoga Studio. Friday Night Cru aims to keep the energy going with more content over the coming weeks, so stay tuned ladies. Everyday is Friday.

Happy Oldies Sunday! We hope you had a great week, today is the day to kickback, and relax with your favourite drink. Speaking of drink, today’s selection is dedicated to a specific drink that was recommended if you wanted to have certain advantages in life. The Artist who made the song goes by the name of Fabby Dolly, and the track is called, “Peanut Punch“.

Produced by Anthony “Red Rose” Cameron and Anthony Malvo on the “Quarter To Twelve Riddim” and released through the How Yu Fi Seh Dat? Label in 1995, it was all about the “Peanut Punch”. Fabby Dolly shared that he had a way with the ladies, and his drink of choice aided him in becoming a hit among them. For those who needed the extra stamina when it comes to handling business, a bag juice just won’t cut it. Blend up some Peanuts along with some key ingredients, and you will have all the power. “Peanut Punch” was a popular single for Fabby Dolly, and it helped to increase the reach of the “Quarter To Twelve Riddim”.

Since the release of “Peanut Punch”, not much was heard from Fabby Dolly. He recorded more singles, but none connected like his hit. He made appearances on various pieces of content on Youtube and Social Media over the years, and some revealed that had fallen on hard times, and was experiencing Mental Health issues. He is on the road to recovery, and we wish him the best. “Peanut Punch” is still recognized today, and still gets played.
