In the wake of this “Sting Season“, the news of Masicka parting ways with Konshens raised questions and of course choice words. Tonight Masicka aims to clear the air on the split and more with Winford Williams. Here he spoke on the events leading up to the split and not dissing Konshens, his “Loyalty” track, Sting 2014 and his willingness to clash with any artist, his feud with Demarco, his thoughts on Alkaline and Gage, and upcoming performances. Not a bad Interview, Masicka said a lot here and I’m looking forward to his gig at Sting and just maybe a little clash with Demarco. Here he spoke a little on his upbringing and musical background, introducing himself and his music to Jamaica, working on being the next Jamaican to make it overseas, and he premiered the music video for his single “Treat Her Right“. The Soul Train Awards is an annual event that honours the best in Black Music and Entertainment. Aired on BET, it featured performances and awarded some of the best in the business. In this video Journalist/News Anchor Wolf Blitzer and Jamaica’s own Tessanne Chin played their part at the event. Here they briefly spoke on some social issues and introduced Singer Aloe Blacc to the stage. A nice highlight for Tessanne as she has been making moves since her win on NBC’s The Voice. With Sting 2014 just around the corner, the main features are the wars of words with acts such as, Ryme Minista, Gage and Tommy Lee Sparta. After hearing taunts by Gage, Tommy Lee Sparta joined the Onstage to discuss that and more. Here he gave an update on his recent tours, dropping many music and videos this year alone, being absent from Reggae Sumfest, his status on his Court Cases in Jamaica and Dominica, gearing up for Sting 2014, dropped taunts for Gage and Alkaline, his recent encounter with Alkaline, and his thoughts on Bounty Killa and Foota Hype. With the “Bashment Granny” plays becoming a part of the greatest Jamaican productions in recent times and propelling actor Keith “Shebada” Ramsey into super stardom, there are now plans underfoot to commence production on a third installment. Tonight, Shebada joined Winford to speak on this and more. Here he expressed his condolences to Cleve “Chu Chu” Warren, addressing the rumors of him being a father, and stepping outside of the “Shebada” character and the feedback. Interesting Interview here, Shebada sure dodged questions and keeping his audience talking. Looking forward to the completion and release of “Bashment Granny 3” and Shebada’s answers.
