If you know Dancehall Artist Chronic Law, he’s a man that doesn’t get involved in everything. You can hear in his music that he’s not to be played with, and lives may be at stake if you think otherwise. Outside of that, he’ll boogie here and there, and he does just that on “Gun Pon Belly“.

“Gun Pon Belly” is Chronic Law having a gangsta party with the ladies, and staying alert at the same time. The track has a catchy chorus, and you’ll catch yourself reciting it while doing a two step. The track was produced by CollectDiBred Entertainment, and the music video, which finds the “Law Boss” with a full cup, a full clip, and a couple ladies, was directed by Crane Motion. “Fada Dark” has his moments, but you might catch him cracking a smile and feeling nice. Gangsta nuh dance, dem jus rock away!

Love is weird sometimes. You can express love and make efforts in love for the next person, and it’s a 50/50 chance for it to be reciprocated. For Jamaican-born/UK-based R&B Artist Äyanna, she wants her energy matched when it comes to love. She talks about it in the video for her new single, “Say You Love Me“.

Directed by Priya Minhas, Äyanna approaches her love interest to speak his truth. Sometimes it’s good to give without expecting, but in her case, if he has feelings for her, he needs to say it out loud. She wants him to meet her halfway, and don’t hold back with loving her, needing her, and trusting her. The video is presented beautifully between Äyanna performing on stage, joining dancers in a few scenes, and conversing with her lover at a table. The video is also a part of a series that includes previously released “Girlfriend“. Äyanna is signed to the LVRN label, and has worked with the likes of DJ Snake, Spinall, and Summer Walker.

Possessing a unique flow and not shy about lyricism, he has gained the respect of a number of Industry players, and is enjoying viral love on Social Media. On his conquest to become a household name, he keeps the consistency when it comes to music. He just unveiled the music video for the track, “Bob Rock“.

Directed by WVLNTH, Najeeriii has everyone dancing away on “Bob Rock”. A dance that he has made a part of his live performances, the deejay looks to make the world get into the groove while he flips a few rhymes. When it comes to the “Marley” name, it has transcended generations. Damian “Junior Gong” Marley has faithfully carried on the legacy of his father Bob Marley, and created his own legacy that will be carried on by his offspring. For his latest release, he has tapped into another name that has contributed to another name that transcended generations. Marley steps out with “My Sweet Lord“.

The self-produced “My Sweet Lord” is Damian Marley’s Reggae cover of the 1970 classic that was performed by the late George Harrison. Harrison was a former member of the Iconic Rock band, The Beatles, and “My Sweet Lord” was his debut release as a solo Artist. It was also the first #1 song to be released by a ex-Beatle. Marley shared his love of the track recently, and was unaware that his father had crossed paths with the Rock band during their heyday. Marley didn’t do anything extra with the track, just lent his voice, bringing together fans of Junior Gong, Bob Marley, George Harrison, and The Beatles together. Hallelujah!

It’s Independence Day in Jamaica, and we celebrate Jamaica 61 on “Oldies Sunday“! This year we get two days of Independence celebrations, and we urge our readers to be safe on the road. Today’s selection comes from Richie Stephens with the track, “Come To Jamaica“.

Co-Produced with Danny Browne and released on the Pot Of Gold label in 2007, “Come To Jamaica” is one of the unofficial anthems of Jamaica by Richie Stephens. Throughout the track, Stephens is inviting outsiders to come and experience the Island, and all that it has to offer. With a great vocal delivery and a backup that help to steer this performance in the right place, “Come To Jamaica” instantly became a hit for Stephens. He had a track record of highlighting Jamaica in the best way through song, and this track was just another addition to the lineup. “Come To Jamaica” was featured on the 2008 album of the same name. The song was also remixed for CVM TV to promote their channel (“Looking in, looking out, looking even better…“).

Since the release of “Come To Jamaica”, Richie Stephens continued to have a music career that was already legendary. “Come To Jamaica” remains a favourite for many.
