As promised, Mavado unleashes the remix to his smash single, “I Ain’t Going Back Broke“. Featuring a fresh verse from incarcerated “World Boss“, Vybz Kartel, Ace Hood and Future join in the speak on their ambitions as hustlers and how they promise never to be broke again. Being broke is not an option for many and coming from the Gully side, Mavado proclaims in his new single “I Ain’t Going Back Broke!“. With Rappers Future and Ace Hood accompanying the Gully God and a La Roux sample, they speak on coming from nothing to being something, being able to provide for their families and never wanting to be destitute anymore. By the sounds of the single, Mavado might have a hit here as it’s a little different from his previous International efforts. After dropping the star studded “Go Hard“, then another with “Go Harder“, Dancehall artist Wayne Marshall finally dropped the visuals for the latter. Directed by Jon J. Visuals and features Baby Cham, Ace Hood and Waka Flocka, the video shows the artists dropping their lyrics in a warehouse setting with girls dancing to the tune. Damian Marley also makes a cameo appearance in the video. Not a bad effort here, the video has a dark feel to it however. Still not a fan of Waka’s verse but will look out for the next time he collabs with another Jamaican artist. Wayne’s “Tru Colors” project is on iTunes now. It’s all about million dollar crews and guns in today’s new video from We The Best artists, Ace Hood and Mavado. Titled “Buss Guns” and directed by Rob Dade, we see Ace and the Gully God rounding up their gang to make some moves while dropping some badman lyrics only to be confronted by enemies on their own turf in the end. Nice to see Mavado doing music with Ace Hood but when will he drop a full length effort like his fellow peers? From the Gullyside to We The Best. As a teaser for his upcoming “Tru Colors” EP, Wayne Marshall recruited Cham, Waka Flocka and Ace Hood for his “Go Harder” single. Considered a remix of sorts that featured Bounty Killa, Vybz Kartel, Damian Marley and others on the original, we hear Wayne going harder against his overseas peers and Cham on this Damian Marley production. Everyone did their thing but Waka had to start with the generic “dutty wine” lyrics. I personally prefer the original but what do you think of this track?
