Episode 11 of “13th Street Quarantine Sessions” is dedicated to all the beautiful black Queens. Tonight’s performance comes from Jamaica born/US based Recording Artist Kmetik Nyne with the track, “Black Girl Magic“! Released earlier this year, Kmetik gives it up for the black woman and highlights the many reasons why he adores them. Kmetik Nyne has been on the scene for quite some time, and has released various Dancehall and Reggae singles, get familiar with him!

Introducing to the Blog today is a young lady who goes by the name, Denai Moore. She has been doing her thing for quite a while overseas, but she calls Jamaica the land of her birth. Recently, she released her 2nd Album titled “We Used To Bloom” (Get It Here). Today, I present to you a visual from that Album titled “Desolately Devoted“. Directed by Travys Owen and shot in the South African Desert, Denai speaks on the good and bad feelings associated with wanting to be with someone. It’s always two sides when it comes to relationships, you either want to go with it, or you hold back because you don’t want to let down your guard. In the video we see her oozing with “Black Girl Magic” as she makes various colourful outfit changes to blend with the breathtaking backdrops. The “REMperor” Leno Banton promised new music for 2017, and he has stuck to his word so far. Teaming up with Producer Wavy Jones, he fires off something for the Summer titled, “Gypsy“. Here he speaks on how a Black Queen has managed to mesmerize him with her magical moves. From wanting to give her a “Bxxxxxxxxt ring“, to creating life with her, it’s amazing how the right woman can captivate your mind, body and soul.
