2024 was a year, and it’s almost over. However, we can’t let it go without recognizing those who took big steps this year for their creativity and brand. There were more viral moments, and some controversial moments, but we expect even more for 2025. For the 2nd year in a row, we want to recognize the work of the Director (who can’t do it without a great team), and show love to a few of Our Favourite Music Videos Of 2024 in words, and with a few Posters made by our 13th Street Visuals platform. Remember growing up on Disney cartoons? Well, for Rajahwild’s “Trophy Front“, the timeless “The Beauty & The Beast” was the inspiration for his Music Video. While members of the public interpreted this as Rajahwild endorsing Satan with his makeup, others saw through the controversial takes, and saw a beautiful Woman being captivated by the beastly character. Ruppi of Now Or Never handled the direction for this one.

Nordia Mothersille Shares Visual For Chronic Law-Featured, “When I’m Gone”

Last month, Recording Artist Nordia Mothersille and Producer Notnice released the EP, “Broken Child“. Mothersille’s debut project quickly gained positive feedback from listeners for its outside the box approach in sound and song composition, and is enjoying great play on streaming platforms and Social Media. New content has been in the works for the project, and earlier, Mothersille premiered the visual for the track, “When I’m Gone“.

Directed by Shane Creative, Chronic Law, the EP’s sole guest feature, shares the screen with Nordia Mothersille in “When I’m Gone”. The visual gives the feel of 2000s Rock music videos with a little bit of 40s Gangster Film influence in parts, and the Artists deliver as usual on their collaboration. “When I’m Gone” is a favourite for many, and it was only right to give it a visual treatment. Mothersille has been busy promoting “Broken Child” with Notnice over the past few weeks, and they may have something special in store for the end of the month, or early 2025. At this point, I believe Mothersille, Chronic Law, Ai Milly, Tommy Lee Sparta, and possibly Stalk Ashley and Jada Kingdom should come together for a Rock-tinged project. If it happens, I need my credits and points on BMI. “Broken Child” is out now on all streaming platforms.

Nordia Mothersille Debuts Her “Broken Child” EP

The name Nordia Mothersille has been showing up in the Jamaican music scene for a number of years, and has been highly praised. She has been making the necessary moves to develop her sound, made appearances on a number of tracks, released her own music, and even became a GRAMMY-certified Songwriter. Under the tutelage of Producer Notnice, she has been working towards her big moment. What’s that moment? The release of her debut EP, “Broken Child“.

Consisting of 7 tracks, Nordia Mothersille takes on a new stage with the release of the “Broken Child” EP. She shares songs about love, heartbreak, overcoming battles, and her dreams, and she puts her best foot forward in delivering this project. She has thrilled many over the years with her vocals, and Notnice compliments them well with his production throughout. Chronic Law is the EP’s only guest feature, and he delivered as he should. Nordia Mothersille is ready for bigger leagues and arenas, and those who haven’t been familiar, will know of her game pretty soon.

Chronic Law Moves Like A “Star” In New Video

Dancehall Artist Chronic Law is one of the hardest working people in music right now. If you doubt that, check his output this year. From singles to videos, he has been very busy, and his fanbase is enjoying everything. He’s described as many things, but lazy is not one of them. In his journey, he is a “Star“.

Produced by Major Seven/VAS Productions/King BNJMN, Chronic Law acknowledges his status in “Star”. While fame has brought him to different levels, “Fada Dark” is still in effect, and he has the necessary tools, and people to ensure safety, and the badness when it’s time. In the Music Video directed by Shane Creative, we see highlights of the Deejay taking his talents to different places, and emphasizes that he rolls deep, and they all are on standby incase things get drastic. The Deejay started in St. Thomas, but his name is known worldwide. The “Law Boss” continues to make boss moves.

Skippa Shares His “4Granny” Project

Dancehall Artist Skippa has been one of the go to names that has emerged out of the “Trap/Chop Dancehall” era, and he has secured a good chunk of real estate on the music scene. His style of music quickly gained popularity, he has managed to adapt to the ever-changing times. With a number of hits out, he further solidified his brand with the release of his debut project, “4Granny”.

Featuring 9 tracks, Skippa celebrates his birthday (Sept. 26) with the release of the “4Granny” EP. The selection features his signature sound, and the topics continue to delve into familiar subject matter, but packaged to tap into a new audience. The project is also dedicated to his Grandmother, a person he always mentioned in a number of his songs. Production includes the likes of Rich Together, Bob Dem, CaadoBeatz, Solitary Muzic, and Devario Music, and features guest appearances by Chronic Law, and Jiggy D. As he continues to ascend in Dancehall, we can expect to see him take on new markets thanks to his new project.

Things Get “Dark Dark” In New Chronic Law & Laden Collab

It’s about to get crazy. Dancehall Artist Chronic Law continues to keep the Studios in business thanks to his consistent release of new music, and we have yet to see any form of slowing down. The year has been a fruitful one for the Deejay, and with a recent cosign from Vybz Kartel, his name will be mentioned even more. Earlier, he released the video for the single, “Dark Dark“.

Produced by Eastern Entertainment on the “Fully Dark Riddim” and featuring Dancehall Artist Laden, Chronic Law brings the guns out in “Dark Dark”. The “Law Boss” and “Senty King” trade war-ready bars, and let listeners know that when the time calls for it, they are locked and loaded for anyone who dares to step into their circle with bad intentions. Thanks to direction by G Team, we get a Music Video that finds the Deejays emphasizing the badness, and everyone has a tool, even the Video Vixens (Popular Vixen Zho makes an appearance in this as well). A collab we didn’t know we needed, we hope we get to hear more from Chronic Law and Laden in the near future.
