Circa Eleven Starts The Party Early With 3 New Releases

Production Duo Circa Eleven has been putting in the work over the years, and they’re not slowing down on the output. Last year they secured a number of collaborations, and even released a Christmas EP. This time around, they’re throwing parties, and they want to start early with 3 new releases from JayYGT, Gio Mar, Brush 1, and 1CDon.

 Circa Eleven released “Mamacita” with 1CDon, “Give It To Me” with JayYGT and Gio Mar, and “Waistline” with Brush 1 and Gio Mar, and listeners have been tuning in. Circa tapped into 3 genres this time around, Dancehall, Soca, and Dembow. On “Give It To Me”, JayYGT and Gio Mar deliver something spicy for the ladies, Brush 1 and Gio Mar aim to get the ladies dancing in the Fete on the energetic “Waistline”, and 1CDon goes bilingual with the lyrics for the ladies in “Mamacita”. In the end, Circa Eleven threw a party that was made for everybody. They continue to showcase their diversity, and we can expect even more stand out collaborations later this year. Rizk Believes In A “Purpose” Greater Than Himself In New Single

Last year, Recording Artist Rizk had a near death experience. He recently shared on Instagram of the ordeal, and that there is something greater than himself out there. Life is filled with surprises and plot twists, but Rizk believes that there’s more to life than what he’s used to. He speaks about it in the new single, “Purpose“.

Produced by Circa Eleven, Rizk recalls the near-tragic incident, and shares some positive words in “Purpose”. He believes everyone has a purpose, and they will find out theirs soon enough. Many people realize them during life-changing experiences, and they move forward living a life that helps others to recognize what’s important in life. We recently shared a story about fellow Dancehall Artist Kyodi who had a near-death experience at the start of this year, and he has been expressing gratitude ever since. Ring In The Holidays With Circa Eleven & The “Peppa Lights” Project

December we’re here, and that means Christmas is around the corner. There will be plenty to be festive about, including new music! Production duo Circa Eleven are getting involved in the festivities this time around, and they have a new EP for the holidays. It’s time to update your holiday playlists with the new “Peppa Lights” EP.

Featuring 3 tracks, the lineup of Recording Artists Gio Mar (son of Wayne Marshall), Jay YGT, and Rizk are celebrating a “Dancehall Christmas” with Circa Eleven on “Peppa Lights, Vol. 1“. What started out as a conversation during a TikTok live about the need for some Dancehall-themed Christmas music this past November, quickly turned into a series of recordings from a number of Artists. When approaching the creation of the EP, Circa wanted to pay tribute to classic Christmas music on the production while the Artists shared their own prospectives when it came to Christmas music. On “First Christmas“, Gio Mar shared his need for his special person for the holidays, on “Holiday Time“, Jay YGT sought to rekindle some lost love for the season, while Rizk was in a festive mood as he parties away on “Jolly Dolly“. If you’re a follower of this platform, you’d know of Canada-based Recording Artist King Cruff. Since the late 2010s, he has been on the scene building his fanbase, and developing his sound. Blending Hip Hop with Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeats, Pop, and a lil EDM, he has been winning over listeners with his selections, and silencing his doubters. Earlier this year, we released a Short Film on Cruff, and he revealed that he would be releasing a project this year. He came through on that word with the release of his debut EP, “What Have I ‘Don“.

Presenting 6 tracks, King Cruff takes center stage with his “What Have I ‘Don” EP. His skillset takes an upgrade as he shows that world that he is made for this. An exhibition of potent flows and sharp lyrics that tap into Afrobeats, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and Pop sounds, this representative of the Tuff Gong camp has what it takes to make music that will stand out. Released through Tuff Gong Collective/Universal Music Canada, Cruff recruited Banx & Ranx, !llmind, CircaEleven, OLivR, and Natural High Music for some heavy production while Skip Marley, Solo Yt, Jag.Huligin, and StoneBwoy join in on the fun. King Cruff is here to make an impact and do a lot for the culture, and like his Grandfather, dem a go tyad fi see him face.

In case you didn’t know, we’re still in “Cruff SZN“. King Cruff emphasized in our recent feature that he will release more music this year, and before you know it, there will be an album available. Still reaching out to new territories and ears, he has been finding success with “FallBack“, and “LINGO“, and now he’s taking the vibes to North America with, “Toronto Condo Girls“.

Produced by Circa Eleven and Tessellated and featuring Solo YT, King Cruff continues his journey in making music that will stand out. The Artists share their adventures in the big city, the Women they’ve come across, and overall secured another collab over solid production that will be on repeat. Cruff and Solo recently shared their “LINGO” collaboration that has been doing well, so “Toronto Condo Girls” will be another one for the books (Can we expect a collab EP from them?). A lot can happen in the big city, just be careful of the people you interact with.

The Christmas season is one that brings people together, and a lil more love is shown. Unfortunately for this year, Covid 19 made sure we don’t get to be around many of those we love. It’s also a time where many loved ones are missed, whether family members or close friends who passed away, someone missing that significant other for one reason or another, or just a situation where a loved one is unable to be present. For the sad times however, we just have to celebrate as if they’re still around. Recording Artist Naomi Cowan knows a thing or two about this, and today she covers a classic on her latest release.

Taking us back to 1994, Naomi Cowan covers Mariah Carey’s classic, “Miss You Most (At Christmas Time)“. Featuring production from Tessellated and CircaEleven, Naomi gives us a beautiful take on the Carey hit with her signature vocals. Accompanying the track is a visualizer directed by JP Williams and shot at Stush in the Bush in St. Ann. The original track was the second single released from Mariah Carey’s “Merry Christmas” album, which features the timeless classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You“. If you’re missing someone during the holiday season, let Naomi’s lovely vocals put you at ease.
