No matter the outcome of your day, always remember to give thanks! Today, Dancehall Artist Jami Dread delivers fresh from Austria his single titled “I Give Thanks“. Produced by R.H.T. Entertainment, Jami gives thanks for Jah’s creations, showing gratitude for seeing another day instead of being 6 feet deep, and encourages others to the same over an uplifting production. Straight outta Portmore today is Dancehall Artist Hazard. Dropping “World Revolves Around Me“, Hazard borrows Desiigner’s “Panda” Instrumental and delivers some bars to keep his fans in the loop as he gears up to release more music. A part of the Lee Milla Productions camp, he was recently featured on Milla’s “Memory Lane Riddim” which also featured Vershon and Alkaline. After premiering the single earlier on Sway In The Morning thanks to Jillionaire, the Trini Viking Bunji Garlin unleashes “Television“. Produced by Jillionaire (Major Lazer/Feel Up Records) and Richie Beretta, Bunji takes it to the club with this Soca/EDM crossover that promises lots of feel good moments. With a Bass heavy production with TV channel changing effects, you may need a trip to a cold room after raving to this hot track! I can imagine the visuals for this will be crazy. We do it easy. Recently, US Rapper/Chef Action Bronson took to a trip to Jamaica. Known for his love of the Jamaican music, food and culture, he filmed an episode of his popular “F**k That’s Delicious” series there. During his time here, he also recorded a few tracks including today’s “Mr. 2 Face“. With guest appearances by fellow Rapper Meyhem Lauren and Reggae Artist Jah Tiger, Bronson and Meyhem traded bars while Jah Tiger breathed new life into an old track (unsure of the date he recorded it). An interesting collaboration from the trio as they mix Hip Hop with some good Reggae and deliver a chill vibe. You can catch Bronson, Meyhem and Jah Tiger in the latest episode of “F*ck That’s Delicious” on Viceland this week. Off Bronson’s upcoming “Blue Chips 7000” Mixtape, check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
The Dancehall Dark Angel and Spartan General Tommy Lee Sparta is back with a brand new visual. Titled “Soul Reaper” and directed by Pang Pang, Tommy gives viewers a glimpse into his world while dropping dark lyrics about making “duppies” and name dropping various communities in Jamaica that make it their practice. One thing that I liked about Tommy Lee Sparta was that in the past couple years he was dropping music videos at a reasonable pace. I hope this year sees more of them. Dropping a new visual today is Jamaican Hip Hop Artist, Imije. Titled “Rankins” and directed by Kemstyle Studios and featuring T.M.O., the two Rappers kicked the flow up a notch and drop commanding lyrics over a hard hitting Mordecai Beats production that was blessed with a Shabba Ranks “Respect” sample. Respect the Red Block hustle. Off Imije’s “Immortals EP” (available here), check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
