Dancehall Artist Skillibeng has a hard time taking a break. Just when you think he’s catching up on some rest from recording and performing, he’s back with new music and content. He is in a place that has given him plenty success, and he can’t slow down the hustle. This time around, he goes 3D in the visual for the track, “Bling Bling“.

Created by 3DLynk, Skillibeng gets animated for “Bling Bling”. Over production by Barrington Neil, Skilli gives us his signature flow, reminding us that he has the fire, and will burn a few microphones in the process. “Bling Bling” was originally released in July, but the animated visual looks to give it more life through the rest of the year. While many would go for the typical music video, it’s great that other Creatives are given a chance to shine. Remember Mental Chung and his animated “Dutty Bwoy” Cartoons? Remember Tommy Lee Sparta’s “Captain Sparta“? Let the doors open for more creative endeavours.

The past few years have seen a rise in Jamaican Artists releasing EPs and albums. Some have blessed the Artists with many opportunities locally and Internationally, and others have become award winners. Artists like Zagga knew early on the importance of making albums a part of his catalogue. He has released 2 so far, and is going for the gold the 3rd time around with “Energy Never Lie“.

Featuring 12 tracks and released through Amini Music, Zagga steps out with positive messages, strong deliveries, and an array of different sounds for the “Energy Never Lie” album. The Artist has something for those who need a dose of positive energy, something for those who need to dance, something for the ladies, and contributions that will help to break the negative mindsets around the world. Production on the new album include the likes of 1Royalty Ent., Shakespeare, Extol Music, Wikid Media Music, Collect Di Bred Ent., Amini Music. Zagga holds his own for the most part, but invited friends like Moyann, Jahshii, and IWaata for a few tracks. Zagga has been deemed as an underrated Artist, but thanks to his consistency, more people are becoming more aware of him and his gifts. Energy never lied on this one.

People have been saying that Dancehall Artist Alkaline fell off. According to the streams and sold out shows, he’s doing well at the moment. While they talk, he gets busy with the music. Earlier, he released the new single, “Iz You“.

Produced by Sartout Records and Autobamb Records, Alkaline reaches out to the ladies on “Iz You”. He has been handling business on previous releases, so now it’s time to get the ladies’ attention. Alka is still slick with the lyrics, taps into a lil R&B/Pop vibes here, and production will have some slow wining on the dance floor. Any time is a good time for some music by Alkaline, and we expect him to keep it consistent for the rest of the year. What has been your favourite Alkaline single for 2023 so far?

Valiant Remains Undeterred In “Beer & Salt”

Recently, members of the content creator/media world highlighted Dancehall Artist Valiant’s first performance in the US. Something that was to be applauded was met with public ridicule as the Deejay wasn’t captivating the audience as he should. These things happen to the best of them, and we believe he will win them over in future performances. Valiant remains as focused as ever however, and moves forward with the video for the new track, “Beer & Salt“.

Directed by KhingCam, Valiant uses the opportunity to clap back at the detractors, and those who pray for his downfall. Joined by a few friends including Jaii Frais and DJ Mac, the video showcases the gathering of friends for a good time, in between Valiant recording. “Beer & Salt” was produced by DJ Mac Music and Diplomats Records. With the year the Deejay has been having, one bad performance won’t slow down his progress. People will talk, let the success make them sick. Watch out for the Beer and Salt.

Over the past few days, you may have heard “Alice“, “Nadine“, “Heroes Circle“, “Crab” and “Crab circle” mentioned all over Jamaican media. There are enough videos out talking about the controversial situation, so we’ll spare you that. Knowing how creative we can get, the situation has been parodied a number of times for Social Media. Enter Selector/Producer/Recording Artist Badda General who chimes in on the controversy with his track, “Inna E Soup“.

Known for cleverly covering current events in his music, Badda General questions the legitimacy of certain street food on “Inna E Soup”. The recent Heroes Circle Crab/Alice/Nadine controversy expelled some rather disgusting details, and Badda is seeking answers as to not put himself and others in poor health. Badda previewed his song on Social Media, and was given mostly positive feedback. While the situation is serious, the jokes have including his comical single, and will continue to fly. At this time however, we hope Nadine is safe and protected. Be careful out there.

Pablo YG deh inna di place with something new. The Deejay has been busy pushing his “Bad Juvi Mixtape” to more ears and places, and he has been proving more and more that he’s the Artist to pay attention to. If you wanted more content, here is his latest video for the track, “Cya Rub Out“.

Directed by Damaniac Visualz, Pablo YG takes it to the construction site with the ladies in “Cya Rub Out”. Inspired by the “Weh yuh did do, cyaa rub out” clip from his Interview with Jaii Frais, Pablo gives fans another track to rock to, and put on the road for some viral love. The ladies that join Pablo show off what they’re made of, while the Deejay fires off some clever lyrics to accompany that catchy “Cya Rub Out” line. “Cya Rub Out” was produced by Herah Music Productions and YGF Records.
