It’s saturday afternoon and you might be enjoying the weather and chilling, why not add some new Vybz Kartel to it? Titled “Hi” and produced by Rvssian, we hear Kartel making use of the word “high” and “hi” from describing the feeling he gets from marijuana to food prices. Interesting effort from Kartel as some of the lines are funny with his use of wordplay. He may be locked up but his music is free. Be sure to download it on iTunes on September 10. Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Ladies it’s time to dance so put on your best and get on bad to I Octane’s newest single. Titled “Wine and Jiggle” and produced by Seanizzle Music, we hear Octane telling the ladies to wine their bodies and make a statement in the dance. This single has a little slow soca sound in it but still would have ladies rocking to it a lot. If your waist is golden, wine and jiggle for I Octane. NEW MUSIC: @IAmTheKartel – No Games (RAW)

Disloyalty is the topic for today’s new music from the “World Boss” Vybz Kartel. Titled “No Games” and produced by U.I.M. Records on the “Love Tri-Angle Riddim“, we hear Vybz expressing how he felt about his woman betraying him and telling that if she wants to continue with her bad ways she can go. Kinda different hearing Kartel being on the opposite side as some of his songs are usually his women being the victims. If she wants the fame so badly she can do what she wants then. Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Who is Deewaan? Many would admit they’ve never heard of him before in the Reggae/Dancehall circuit but somehow he has managed to perform at Reggae Sumfest with the legendary Bounty Killa and was behind a few Jamaican projects. On Onstage tonight, Winford Williams had a quick chat with the International recording artist and producer. In the video Deewaan spoke about his beginnings, his involvement in a few Jamaican projects including the Team Jamaica anthem, his love for Reggae/Dancehall music, working with top acts including Lady Gaga and Bounty Killa with the latter resulting in a song called “Running It Wild“, his first onstage performance ever, and his future projects. Very interesting interview and it shows that Reggae/Dancehall music is a global genre and is very influential. Looking forward to more from Deewaan.
