In case you didn’t know, Sean Paul is back with a brand new album called, “Scorcha“! The follow up to the GRAMMY nominated “Live N Livin” album, Sean is on a path to take over the International market once again with his brand of Dancehall music. With a few singles out for the just released album, Sean boasts a few prominent features on there, including Shenseea and Gwen Stefani as they join him on the track, “Light My Fire“.

Produced by Jigzag, KooolKojak and AC, Sean Paul takes care of raising the temperature for the ladies on Light My Fire”. Over a production that taps into some old school sounds, you might find yourself skanking, or slow wining with your partner to this. Shenseea adds her signature flair on track while Gwen Stefani brings her classic vocals on the hook (Haven’t heard Gwen in a long time). Got a copy of “Scorcha” yet? Check the streams now!

Sean Paul has come a long way in his long music career. From making his rounds in the late 90s, to dominating in the 2000s and 2010s, he now looks to further seal his iconic status with more timeless music. The Jamaican King of the streams steps into the 2020s with his 7th album, “Live N Livin“.

The new album finds Sean Paul flexing his contact list as he has a heavily featured project. Let’s just call it “Sean Paul & Friends” at this point because there’s a lot of collaborations here to enjoy over and over. From Chi Ching Ching, to Squash, to Junior Gong, Jesse Royal, to Skillibeng, to Mavado, this promises to be a classic, and an album that will be in heavy rotation. Production provided by the likes of Nigel Staff, Nyann “News” Lodge, Delly Ranx, Rico Love, Troyton Music, and many others, so get ready fi tun up to this! When you find yourself liking one track, be prepared to like even more. It’s a Dutty 2021, turn up your speakers!

“GodFather, man a OG…“

Earlier this year, the Quartet of “Godfather of Grime” Wiley, Dancehall Icon Sean Paul, UK Bad Gyal Stefflon Don, and “The Black James Bond” Idris Elba released their collaborative single titled, “Boasty“. As they joined forces to give us a bassy track to keep us feeling swaggy, it was only right they followed up with a music video. Directed by Henry Scholfield, we get a dope performance of the track by the four Artists (except Wiley part was replaced by Child Actor, Brooklyn Appiah) in four different locations (they don’t meet up in the end though). While the track is steadily gaining steam, the video is a nice touch and will get you in the mood to be flashy. Check out the video below, and share with a friend. The Major Lazer sound continues to reach the heart and soul of many! With their EP “Know No Better” still making its round, and before they embark on touching down in Jamaica later this month, they release the visual for the Sean Paul and J Balvin assisted “Buscando Huellas“! The video was directed by Juan Pablo Valencia, and features only Jillionaire, J Balvin, and some unique Dancers having a small dance off inside an abandoned building. With the song’s blend of Reggaeton, Dancehall, EDM, it calls for the Dance groups to perform coordinated moves to this one. Would’ve been cool if Sean Paul was present for this, but he was probably on tour with Chi Ching Ching. Time to bust a move, watch the video below!

With the single gaining more popularity thanks to Producer Kickraux’s Remix, the Artists premiere the visuals today. Directed by Jack Newman, the Deejays speak on the beauty of a woman and how it entices them, and they then experience the “Crick Neck” when a sexy woman walks their way. With the addition of Dancers, this makes the EDM tinged Dancehall tune a ready to dance number and viewers can learn the “Crick Neck” Dance while they’re at it.
