KMT Releases “The Reign” EP, 1st Project In 10 Years

Mobay Hip Hop group KMT returned to the scene earlier this year with new music, and a new focus. Consisting of MoulaUE, Daley HTG, and Karma Crew, the group took a break so members could make moves individually, with the intention of reforming soon after. Unfortunately life happens, and KMT never reformed until this year, releasing the single “Grimey” in August, and announcing a new project. Having officially making a comeback to the scene, KMT recently released the EP, “The Reign“.

Featuring 4 tracks, KMT returns to the scene after 10 years with the release of the new EP, “The Reign”. MoulaUE, Daley HTG, and Karma Crew return with fresh lyrics, new ideas, and new vibes, manoeuvring in a scene that has since tapped into America’s “Trap Music” culture, spawning its own set of talent. This is the first release since the 2015 EP, “3 Eyes“, and the Rappers hold their own throughout the project. Meiser Beats handles the production on “The Reign”, and Elusive remains the sole guest feature. Not all returns are huge events, but an impact will be made. Once KMT has something to say, expect them to apply pressure this time around.

Dancehall has welcomed a number of collaborations over the years, with many being high profile, and International. For Dancehall Artist Busy Signal, he has a collaboration that’s legendary. He recently unveiled a “Triple Bad” collab!

Overseen by Gorilla Music Source on the production, Busy Signal calls up Bounty Killa, and Beenie Man for an atomic bomb called, “Triple Bad (a.k.a. 3x BBB). With decades of dominance in their respective lanes, we’re treated to a display of lyrical prowess, swagger, and a whole heap of badness from this triple threat. We know Bounty and Beenie’s storied history and friendship, and Busy steps out as one of Bounty’s kids who just secured his Doctorate in Dancehall Music. The production borrows from the 90s classic Hip Hop track, “Deja Vu (Uptown Baby)” by Peter Gunz and Lord Tariq, and the Deejays effortlessly handle this Dancehall/Hip Hop blend. Yannick Paul Delivers Street Ministry With “The Search” EP

US-based Gospel Artist Yannick Paul has been busy these past few weeks. When he’s not being a family Man, he’s working on new music, and spreading the Gospel. Recently, he announced that he would be releasing a new EP, and followed up with the first single, “Level Up“. Today, he expands his catalogue with the release of, “The Search“.

Featuring 7 tracks, Yannick Paul continues his brand of “Street Ministry” with the release of, “The Search”. The EP presents a Man who has found guidance in the almighty, and despite his past, his stumbles, and his challenges, he remains more focused than ever in his journey of spreading the Word. The EP dabbles in Dancehall and Hip Hop styles here, and Paul ensures that the messages are shared skillfully, and are able to connect with the listener. Production on “The Search” includes the likes of Dextah, Siemaa, DRIVVSTUDIOS, Lijah Muzik, and LT Smith, tapping into sounds that present the Gospel in a more modern way. There will be people who are called to deliver the Word, and Yannick Paul utilizes his talents to bring forth them.

Over the weekend, Recording Artist Vindon released his new project, the “Gran’ Scheme” EP. The EDM/Dancehall/HipHop-fused project finds the Artist in a different element, with music that will connect with listeners locally, and Internationally. Keeping the content going, he followed up with the 1st music video for “Paradise Calling” from the project.

Co-directed with The Grei Show, Vindon connects with nature, and a beauty in the video for “Paradise Calling”. Starring Model Cuban Link who joins the Artist away from the city lights and concrete buildings, the video is one that will have us wanting to book a getaway, and dance along to the track’s energetic sound. Vindon is one of the few Artists who aim to be different with the visuals, and we look forward to what’s next from the project. KMT Makes A “Grimey” Return After Hiatus

It’s been a few years since we’ve heard of Mobay’s Hip Hop trio of MoulaUE, Daley HTG, and Karma Crew a.k.a. KMT. The group made some noise with a string of releases for some time before going on a hiatus to focus on life outside of the Studio. In recent time, Daley stepped out with a few singles, and earlier this year, MoulaUE returned with a new track. It was only right the group made a full return with Karma onboard, and earlier they release the new single, “Grimey“.

Produced by Meiser Beats and featuring Elusive, KMT makes a villainous return with the release of, “Grimey”. The Rappers show no aging with their bars, and they can still hold their own on the slow-cooked production provided. Shots were fired, but overall they make a return to a scene where Trap Dancehall has been holding the fort. Can they make an impact here with their return? They have a new project on the way called “The Reign” that is sure to light a few fires upon its release. Jamaica’s Hip Hop scene hasn’t gotten the necessary love, but we applaud those who still believe in their skills, and have found their following over the years. It’s the return of the triple threat, Villains may be swayed for this one.

For a number of years, Vindon has been showcasing a musical style that stood out from his peers. The years found him crossing over to the European market, collaborating with EDM DJs and Producers. He has found success, but he still wants more. This time around, like his latest EP, he’s working on a “Gran’ Scheme“.

Featuring 9 tracks, Vindon has his focus on new developments and greater success on the “Gran’ Scheme” EP. He blends Hip Hop, Dancehall, EDM, and Pop sounds throughout, shares his ideas and ambitions, and puts together a project that gives the listeners a look into what he has experienced, and what he’s looking forward to accomplish. Vindon holds his own through all nine tracks, and taps into production from the likes of AX.EL, Lookas, Crime Beatz, Siimi, and Simbai. He has a plan for total domination, just watch what he reveals in the grand scheme of things.
