It’s a new day for new music, and today you’re gonna hear something you have never heard before. For years DJ Khaled has been one of the names to call for collaborations, but when it comes to Dancehall and Reggae, it was a moment for him. Known for pairing up even former foes for hit tracks, he steps out again with a unique collaboration called, “You Remind Me“.

The much-anticipated “You Remind Me” collaboration finds DJ Khaled enlisting Jamaican Icons Bounty Killa, Vybz Kartel, Buju Banton, and Mavado for something for the ladies. Co-Produced with StreetRunner, Dson Beats, Tarik Azzouz, and Habib and featuring contributions from Kaylan Arnold and RoryStonelove, we get a song that is about to extend the Summer vibes, and get the ladies dancing. The track was previewed a few months ago via a video showing the Deejays in a Studio session in Miami, and we finally get the track that may become a part of history as we see former foes (Mavado vs Kartel, other times Kartel vs Bounty, and for a time Mavado vs Bounty) share the booth and reunite as friends, and we continue to enjoy Kartel’s episodes as a free Man. New collaborations, unity, and vibes today, tune in!

Produced by Mahfia Made It and Catalog Music Group, Nile SNL is on the hunt for beautiful Women, and he’s about to have a lot of fun with them. She can be the “won’t hurt a fly” type, but she’ll become a vixen after she experiences Nile. He’s adding to his collection, and he’ll seduce his way to their hearts. Nile continues to keep the people paying attention since going viral with a number of singles, and if he keeps the momentum going, we might get a follow up project from him before the year is over. Canadian R&B Recording Artist RAAHiiM is gearing up to bring big vibes to the music scene. With Summer nearing its closing, he wanted to give listeners something extra to enjoy. Recently, he stepped out with a new single for the ladies called, “WiiCKEDEST“.

Produced by Supa Dups and Jordon Manswell and features Recording Artist BEAM, RAAHiiM is on the hunt for the gal wid di wickedest slam in, “WiiCKEDEST”. The track taps into Dancehall and Afrobeats sounds and vibes here, showing love to the Artists’ and Producers’ Caribbean backgrounds. “WiiCKEDEST” pays tribute to this Beenie Man classic, and also pays tribute to RAAHiiM’s Father, who was a DJ in Canada who competed in Sound Clashes. Women love gifts, and there are Men who loving giving them. Some Women however, need love, something that even the most expensive gifts can’t satisfy. On the other hand, Nordia Mothersille loves her “Sugar” who ensures she’s taken care of, and she shares what she needs from him in, “Ms. Dior“.

Featuring Agent Sasco and produced by Notnice, Nordia Mothersille plays the role of a “Sugar baby” in, “Ms. Dior”. While Sasco plays the cheerful giver, they both have to deal with people gossiping about their dynamic. If it works for them, who are we to intervene? In a Shane Creative-directed video, Nordia is seen being showered with gifts while she pampers herself throughout, and Sasco keeps a low profile through phone conversations and monetary transactions. Lots of luxury items being sent for that love, who’s complaining here? The Sugar baby wants it all!

Over the weekend, Recording Artist Vindon released his new project, the “Gran’ Scheme” EP. The EDM/Dancehall/HipHop-fused project finds the Artist in a different element, with music that will connect with listeners locally, and Internationally. Keeping the content going, he followed up with the 1st music video for “Paradise Calling” from the project.

Co-directed with The Grei Show, Vindon connects with nature, and a beauty in the video for “Paradise Calling”. Starring Model Cuban Link who joins the Artist away from the city lights and concrete buildings, the video is one that will have us wanting to book a getaway, and dance along to the track’s energetic sound. Vindon is one of the few Artists who aim to be different with the visuals, and we look forward to what’s next from the project. If you haven’t gotten familiar with the “Gran’ Scheme” EP, it’s out now on all platforms.

OLDIES SUNDAY: Tony Matterhorn – Dutty Wine (2006)

Summer is still active, and before August is over, we wanted to highlight one more Summer hit on “Oldies Sunday“. Today, we go back in time to check out Selector/Recording Artist Tony Matterhorn’s “Dutty Wine“.

Produced by SupaHype on the “Smash Riddim” and released through Smash Hyperactive Entertainment in 2006, Tony Matterhorn’s “Dutty Wine” was for the Women who had attitude, and the ability to take on the dance floor. The “Dutty Wine” dance, which required dancers to perform a rotating movement of the neck, adding various movements with it, was said to have originated around 2003 by then popular Dancer Mad Michelle and Dance Group The Attitude Girls, and given its rising popularity, it was immortalized through song. The song quickly became a hit for Matterhorn as his deejaying would place him on the forefront at the time, and the dance would grow to become a controversial one as Doctors publicly warned about its health risks. “Dutty Wine” would go on to gain International recognition, inspiring many, including Pop star Beyonce, to perform variations of the dance in music videos, and stage performances. It was also referenced by Rapper Nicki Minaj in her verse on Kanye West’s “Monster” single. On August 15, 2025, “Dutty Wine” was certified “Silver” in the UK, selling over 200,000 copies. The song would become Tony Matterhorn’s biggest hit.

Since the release of “Dutty Wine”, Tony Matterhorn would go on to release a number of singles over the years. His DJing career continued to thrive as that was his lane before becoming a Recording Artist, and would not only entertain crowds to this day with his mixes and selections, but battle fellow DJs for titles in “World Clash” competitions. “Dutty Wine” is still a party starter, and a classic.
