The “1GAD” StoneBwoy returns with new music, and we know the world is thankful for it. The “BHIM Nation” boss made a big move recently by signing to Def Jam Africa, a historic move that promises to gain him even more channels to deliver his classic music. Ready to take on the new opportunity like a Bull when it sees red, he releases his debut single for Def Jam titled, “Therapy“.

Produced by Supa Dups, Izy Beats, and Daramola, StoneBwoy has a conversation with his “numero uno” Woman who thinks he’s messing around despite trying to treat her special and spoil her. With the infectious production, we truly believe this will do damage when it hits more spots around the world. StoneBwoy has been one of the leading names in the Afrobeats scene for a number of years, and his iconic status continues to be greater. We look forward to what else he has in store for his new label, especially in the collaborations department.

Produced by the legendary Supa Dups and featuring “Singy Singy” Tarrus Riley, Emanuel’s single gets a makeover filled with great Reggae production with an amazing pairing of vocals that will surely put a smile on the Black Queens worldwide. The original track featured production by the legendary Kardinal Offishall, John Fellner, and Ryan Bakalarczyk. Linking up with Tarrus according to Emanuel “felt like the stars were aligning“. “I know Tarrus Riley from going to the parties of my Jamaican friends where they play music that’s big and nostalgic for them. His song ‘She’s Royal’ is just huge, people are still bumping it in 2020! I think people really appreciate the legacy of that song and the link up is really big for what ‘Black Woman’ means and what I want the legacy of ‘Black Woman’ to be. To have him on it, it felt like the stars were aligning. Singer/Actress/Reality TV Star Amara La Negra has been enjoying an enormous amount of buzz since crossing over to the US market thanks to her appearances on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Miami“. Since then, she has signed record contracts, and made her brand spread everywhere. Making time for the studio however, she has released her latest single, “Insecure“. Produced by Theron Thomas of Rock City and Supa Dups (with Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor making a cameo appearance), Amara wants to get to the bottom of things as her intuition is tingling when it comes to matters of the heart.

This marks Amara’s first official single for her upcoming debut album, and her second release in recent weeks with the first being the Sister Nancy sampled, “What A Bam Bam“. What’s next for the Afro Latina bombshell? Stay tuned. Check out the track below.

It’s no secret that Hip Hop Artist Drake is a fan of Jamaica’s music culture. From his choice of slang, to his affiliations, to his hometown being chock full of the Jamaican influence, it’s only right that his “Views” album gets some of the essence. Off the recently released album, Dancehall Artist Mavado is featured on Views’ 2nd track, “9“. “9” features a sample from the Deejay’s 2007 single “Dying” off his “Gangsta For Life” debut album. “Dying” was produced by DASECA Productions and features Serani. It’s not the first time both Artists have crossed paths as Mavado played a role in Drake’s “Find Your Love” video off “Thank Me Later“, and Drake was a guest during Mavado’s set at “Britjam 2011“. “Views” also sampled Beenie Man’s “Tear Off Mi Garment” on an updated version of “Controlla” which was previously leaked with Dancehall Artist Popcaan. “Controlla” also gave writing credits to Jamaican Producer Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor and Supa Dups. “Tear Off Mi Garment” was produced by Patrick Roberts and was released in 1995 on the “Urkle Riddim“. Popcaan’s “Love Yuh Bad” is also sampled on the Rihanna assisted “Too Good” and also includes Supa Dups in the writing credits. The track was produced by Dre Skull and is featured on Popcaan’s debut album, “Where We Come From“. Popcaan is currently affiliated with Drake’s OVO group. “Views” is now available on iTunes.
