Inna this session, we have the one called Buju Banton ready to take over the scene! The veteran has been very busy these past few years, and is always ready when it comes to the music. For the summer, he looks to show why he is one of the greatest with the release of the new album, “Too Too Bad“.

Featuring 13 tracks, Buju Banton salutes the old school, shows why he’s a legend with the new “Too Too Bad” album. The Deejay is in his element here, showing no signs of aging when he takes over the booth. The album has a mix of everything for every kind of Buju fan, and has elements of the 80s and 90s, times where a young Buju made strides. The ladies will love it, and the brothers will respect it. Production on “Too Too Bad” includes the likes of DJ Mac, Crash Dummy, J’August, Dready, Silent Addy, Disco Neil, AyoJuan, Ricky Blaze, and Supa Dups, while Ari Lennox, DJ Khaled, and Gramps Morgan show up for a few tracks. Produced by Supa Dups and Jordon Manswell and features Recording Artist BEAM, RAAHiiM is on the hunt for the gal wid di wickedest slam in, “WiiCKEDEST”. The track taps into Dancehall and Afrobeats sounds and vibes here, showing love to the Artists’ and Producers’ Caribbean backgrounds. “WiiCKEDEST” pays tribute to this Beenie Man classic, and also pays tribute to RAAHiiM’s Father, who was a DJ in Canada who competed in Sound Clashes. In a time when people are experiencing hardships and difficulties, Skip wants the people come together and fight for a cause. He goes against those who wield the blade of corruption, who torment the people with oppression, and calls for us to fight back and claim what’s ours. “In Our Sight” is for the future leaders and fighters, the ones who know what’s right, and will endeavour to fix things. The new single samples Dennis Brown’s 1973 single “Westbound Train“, which was produced by Niney The Observer, which also sampled Al Green’s 1972 single, “Love And Happiness“. Dancehall/Pop Artist Shenseea has taken her brand and music to various parts of the world, and the work never stops. Since breaking out in 2016, she has been building her fanbase with hits, and ushered in new movements. Her name soon brought International acclaim, and soon found herself working with many from Tyga, to Masego, to Kanye West. She aims for more with the release of her sophomore album, “Never Gets Late Here“.

Featuring 14 tracks, Shenseea expands her catalogue with “Never Gets Late Here”, and show that her flame has not been outed. While she received mixed reviews for her debut album and criticism for comments made prior to that, she shared that she would return to her Dancehall roots. It’s up to the listener to determine if she’s back in the department with the new project.
