Today’s new music comes from Sons Of Liberty member, Miguel James. Titled “Only Kids Dream” and produced by Miguel and Riptide, we hear Miguel taking it back to moments in his upbringing including when he listened to raps and penned lyrics, to now being determined to make it and overcome his struggles. According to the title only kids dream and being at the age of 21, he needs to make things happen. Really great production here along with very interesting lyrics that promises you to rewind a few parts. Plotting on a come up the Sons Of Liberty finally dropped their long awaited mixtape. Titled “Escape Theory“, this is a 13 track set of hard hitting lyrics and production by the collective. Featuring production by King Biggs, Heatwave, RipTide, and haYze and verses from all members, this is a project that was 7 years in the making. Recorded at Phillip Myers’ studio, they were able to bring us music from the soul, their form of expression without restriction or control. Today’s new video comes from the collective of King Biggs, haYze, The Therapist, Tristan, The Rush and 5 Star. Titled “Tribes of Hip Hop” and directed by Yannick Reid for Aeon Pro Studios, Randy Richards and Matthew McCarthy, we see them leading a mob through a neighborhood all while dropping bars over a hard hitting production made by King Biggs.
