London-Born Singjay Clip C has always felt connected to his Jamaican roots and he’s hoping his latest single will find favour with them. The track, Like A Rainbow, is produced Deano Deann and was released last month. The song has an accompanying music video. “The song is being well received. It has a warm summer vibes, especially with the females, due to the obvious Caribbean influence. DJs claim it is a sure summer hit,” he said. “It’s a colourful song highlighting my passion for beautiful women. This song has the potential to be a hit not only for the summer, but for many seasons due to its understandable lyrics.”

Distributed by Zojak World Wide, Like A Rainbow is available for purchases on iTunes and all other digital outlets. Born in United Kingdom, Clip C’s (given name Marcus Spence) grandparents hail from St Elizabeth. “St Elizabeth and Cedar Grove in Manchester are second home,” he said. He got his musical break in 2013 with the release of Chance It (Buzwakk Records). His other singles include Touch You and She Wants Me.

Clip C is also upbeat on a soon-to- be released track entitled Liff Up. “Liff Up is with Stylo G. It is a UK/Dancehall vibe song directed at the ladies of the world with the more voluptuous figures.” The Singjay said he’s intent on making himself a household name. “My aim is to solidify my name as a household brand in the UK and the Dancehall Industry by spreading positive messages of upliftment to the world,” said Clip C.

PRESS RELEASE: Spit Fiyah Banking On “Island Sun”

Emerging Singjay Spit Fiyah is hoping his latest song “Island Sun” will find favour among listeners.

“My aim was to sing about that type of person [who] you just can’t get enough of emotionally, physically, and mentally. That person who your love for them goes deeper than romance”

“Island Sun” is produced by Chinchilla Music and Dre Day Production. The single was released in April. According to Spit Fiyah, “Island Sun” has been receiving favourable reviews. He anticipates chart success. Available on iTunes, the Singjay said he’s been bumping up the promotions on Social Media. “I have had a fan from Alaska write to me about the song. I’ve been looking for a new sound and this is really satisfying,” he said.

Spit Fiyah (given name Antroy Palmer) said he knew music was his calling. “I used to write poems and people would say they like it, so a thought came to my mind to try and write a song. I then started off Rapping, but eventually found my way back to my roots of Dancehall/Reggae,” he said. His other release is “Love Me Song”.

PRESS RELEASE: @DennyToTheFray Talks Safe Sex!

Toronto based Reggae Rapper Denny To The Fray tackles the issue of safe sex on his latest single of the same name. The track, released May 14, is taken from his upcoming five-track EP, “TFP”. “The goal is to bring out in the open subjects people are uncomfortable talking about, like using protection when engaging in sexual intercourse. No one should be afraid to talk about sex. There are a million songs all about sex, but, unfortunately, not as many discuss what is appropriate and safe,” said Denny To The Fray, 34.

“Safe Sex” is co-produced by Mark “Zeej Maverick” Sterling and Denny Walcott. “TFP”, which is earmarked for a June 30 release date, boasts tracks including “Don’t Shoot”, “Safe Sex”, “Bobby”, “Four Four”, and “Keep Blazing 2.0”. A past student of Clarendon College, Denny to the Fray (given name Denny Fray Walcott) was born in Lionel Town in that parish. At 12, he built a sound system and played at gigs throughout Clarendon. He migrated to Canada in 1997 where he studied law at Sheridan College. His recording break would come in 2013 with the release of “Keep Blazing”.

“I intend to leave a manuscript to living a positive, meaningful life with my music. I want to educate our young people while entertaining them.”
