Jst Sako Releases Visual For ReasonHD-Featured, “Ngimtholile”

Recently, South African Recording Artist/Producer Jst Sako released his debut album, “TUKA“. Since then, he has been receiving a great deal of feedback and support for the project, and he’s more motivated than ever to push the project to more people around the world. Earlier, he premiered the music video for the track, “Ngimtholile“.

With BySomeIdiot Studios handling the video’s direction, Jst Sako and featured guest ReasonHD talk about love, and finding that special person in, “Ngimtholile”. “Ngimtholile” means “I found him/her” in Zulu, and the video shows Sako enjoying every moment with his love interest. It’s a great feeling to wake up to the one you love, sharing intimate moments, spending quality time together, and connecting in ways that further solidifies the union. “Ngimtholile” is one of the popular tracks off of the album, and the video looks to give it a longer shelf life. In music, there are names that are immortalized in song. You know plenty of those songs, but when you own one of the names, it’s really special. Today’s “Oldies Sunday” will be special for the Women who own this name. Today’s selection comes from Daddy Screw with the track, “Kerry“.

Produced by Dave Kelly on the “Car Crash Riddim” and released through the Mad House label in 1994, Daddy Screw had “Kerry” on his mind a lot. Featuring Singer Donovan Steele, the song finds the Artists making their dedication to Kerry, assuring love and loyalty, dismissing other Women, and of course making her feel like the only girl in the world. All the Women named Kerry quickly owned this song when it was released back in the day, and it definitely boosted their confidence. Aside from them, the song became one of Screw’s hits, securing high positions on local charts, and finding its way into the International market.

Since the release of “Kerry”, Daddy Screw went on to release more music over the years. He migrated to the US in later years, but the musical output slowed since. He supported the career of his son Tyrello a.k.a. Chedda Da Medalis, who had some success in music over the years. “Kerry” continues to be played to this day, along with his many hits. Big up all the Kerry dem.

Ymo G Starts Halloween Early With “Luv Is Pain” Video

A few months ago, Dancehall Artist Ymo G released his debut EP, “Vengeance“. The project has since enjoyed some gains in streaming, and looks to keep promoting it with new content. Earlier, he premiered the visual for the track, “Luv Is Pain“.

Directed by Ymo G and shot by O2 Visuals, the Deejay kicks off the Halloween season early with the release of the “Luv Is Pain” video. Playing the role of Horror Film character Chucky, he becomes a terror for the occupants of a home, except for a young Woman who he has a liking for. The video shows Ymo G collecting his victims throughout, in between scenes of him winning over his love interest. We can expect a few Halloweeners dressing up as Chucky next month, Ymo just hopped on board early here. If you haven’t heard it yet, his “Vengeance” EP is out now!

KMT Releases “The Reign” EP, 1st Project In 10 Years

Mobay Hip Hop group KMT returned to the scene earlier this year with new music, and a new focus. Consisting of MoulaUE, Daley HTG, and Karma Crew, the group took a break so members could make moves individually, with the intention of reforming soon after. Unfortunately life happens, and KMT never reformed until this year, releasing the single “Grimey” in August, and announcing a new project. Having officially making a comeback to the scene, KMT recently released the EP, “The Reign“.

Featuring 4 tracks, KMT returns to the scene after 10 years with the release of the new EP, “The Reign”. MoulaUE, Daley HTG, and Karma Crew return with fresh lyrics, new ideas, and new vibes, manoeuvring in a scene that has since tapped into America’s “Trap Music” culture, spawning its own set of talent. This is the first release since the 2015 EP, “3 Eyes“, and the Rappers hold their own throughout the project. Meiser Beats handles the production on “The Reign”, and Elusive remains the sole guest feature. Not all returns are huge events, but an impact will be made. Once KMT has something to say, expect them to apply pressure this time around.
