Dancehall Artist Demarco has steered his career into a direction where many will reflect on his significant contributions to Dancehall Music. Whether as a Producer or Recording Artist, he has classics under his belt, and he has the potential to do even more. People will talk about his greatness, but as for those who speak negatively about hm, he tells them to “Don’t Talk Bout Me“.

Produced by Sponge Music, Demarco calls out the naysayers in “Don’t Talk Bout Me”. The Deejay has had many high points in his over 20 year career, but he has also had to deal with people who think the worst for him. Despite that, he’s continuing his climb to greater levels, and he is still enjoying success. The Music Video for “Don’t Talk Bout Me” was directed by DeusBeni, and features an appearance by the Sponge Music boss, and Demarco continues to revel in his status as a Dancehall giant, and toasts to those who thought he wouldn’t amount to anything. Dancehall Artist Jamal knows a little about Numerology, and he shares his angel number for success in “999“.

Produced by MXSSIVH and Deemo for Diamond Krust Records, Jamal is living a life filled with lavishness and success in, “999”. In the video directed by Dario MAGIX, the Deejay speaks about the journey to acquiring his riches, gives viewers a full view of what his hard work has brought to his table, brought along friends in his journey, and is ensuring that his cup is never empty. For those unfamiliar, “999” means new life or new beginnings in Numerology, and things definitely took a turn for the better for Jamal Dunceman. Wynta Previews New Music On @DJAGOnline1’s Livestream

Upcoming Dancehall Artist Wynta has been on the move in these past few months. The TopRanks Entertainment-affiliated Deejay has been promoting the single, “Ghetto Currency“, and enjoyed over 100k views of its music video on Youtube. Ready to take his talents to more eyes and ears, he recently joined the Livestream of UK’s DJ AG Online in Kingston.

On March 24, Wynta showed up to DJ AG Online’s Livestream event to perform. The Deejay previewed new music, and quickly received praise from viewers, and fellow Artists at the location. The Deejay is known for the tracks “Rich Rock” and “16 & Bad“, and is working on his debut project to be released later this year. DJ AG Online’s livestream platform consists of a live DJ set where he allows public performances. Since 2023, he has shared the stream with a number of Artists including Skepta, Krept & Konan, Tippa Irie, Daniel Bedingfield, Macka Diamond, Beres Hammond, Asher D, Craig David, Kxng Izem, Valiant, and McKada. The DJ recently left Jamaica, and looks forward to coming back for more performances in the future.

Wynta’s “Ghetto Currency” is out now on all platforms.

Welcome to the month of April. This is Reggae Artist Jesse Royal’s month, and he has something great in store for us. This month he will premiere his High Life Festival, and he will be delivering great music, and share the stage with a few of his friends. Ahead of the concert, he’s setting the tone with new music. Recently, he shared the new single, “Light Of Mine“.

Produced by Dretegs, Jesse Royal is on a high, and continues to elevate in, “Light Of Mine”. The past decade has seen the Artist create a successful lane for himself, and continues to progress with plans to do even more. The track displays some of his best deliveries with some motivating lyrics throughout, and like that classic song, he’s gonna let his little light shine for a long time to come. Jesse’s success didn’t happen overnight, and it took a lot of overcoming the hard times to enjoy some of the sweet life. The new book enforces similar messages through a great story for the youth who are facing stumps in their journey. The book also features a number of activities that encourage a child’s development to be done with family and friends, and even includes a soundtrack filled with positive music.

Today we close off “Women’s History Month“ for 2025 with an Oldies Sunday selection. We give thanks for the many great Women who have made significant contributions to Music, and we look forward to more of them creating History as time goes by. Today’s selection on comes from Lorna Bennett with the track, “Dancing To My Own Heartbeat“.

Produced by Tony Scott and Pluto Shervington who also wrote it, and released through the Wild Flower label in 1976, Lorna Bennett was in a disco mood on “Dancing To My Own Heartbeat”. She speaks about the vibe when music is played, and how people react it, but she pays special attention to one Man who she admires. She watches how his body moves to the rhythm that she produces, and it does something amazing to her. “Dancing To My Own Heartbeat” quickly gained attention in Jamaica, and became a hit for the younger crowd. The single was Lorna’s first after taking a break from music to pursue her Law studies in Barbados. Lorna’s version of the track wouldn’t be the only recording that was released, but it still gained popularity for quite some time. Lorna Bennett was already a hitmaker as she became the first Jamaican Woman to top the Island’s singles charts for five years.

After the release of “Dancing To My Own Heartbeat”, Lorna Bennett decided to quit music to open her Law practice in St. Elizabeth. She returned to music briefly in the 2000s, then quit again to manage the career of her son, Recording Artist Protoje, who has made an indelible mark in Jamaican music. “Dancing To My Own Heartbeat” is played and loved by many to this day.
