Recording Artist Projexx has been staying busy these past few months. While he hasn’t been releasing music, he was making vital connections, showing up on various platforms, and enjoying the success of his appearance on projects like WizKid’s “Made In Lagos” album, Juls’ “Sounds Of My World“, A!MS’ “Offshore“, Skillibeng’s “The Prodigy: Ladies Only“, and his debut EP “Queen Hill“. Ready to have the people talking, he released the visual for the single, “Top Speed“.

Featuring legendary UK Rapper Giggs and Dancehall Artist Marksman, Projexx brings a different energy on “Top Speed”. They all trade slick lyrics throughout, and the 300K-directed visual catches them in a flashy life with a few ladies surrounding them throughout. Projexx may be looking to release a follow up project this year, and it’s overdue for one. Giggs has been busy in Jamaica securing collabs as well, and it’s good to see Marksman on the collaboration as his name and content has been getting mixed results online. Roll out!

Producer/Recording Artist Rvssian continues to keep his brand afloat with various singles and productions that turn into hits, and is still staying true as a member of the Gaza Nation. He has a few surprises that he has been steadily unveiling over the course of this year, and now he drops another with the release of “Sixteen“.

Rvssian not only brought out friend and long-time collaborator Vybz Kartel for “Sixteen”, he recruited multiplatinum US Rapper Trippie Redd. Released through Head Concussion Records, we get a combination of Rvssian’s beats and lyrics, Kartel’s signature wordplay, and Trippie’s melodic delivery. Prior to the track’s release, Trippie was seen with Tommy Lee Sparta, so we expect another collab soon. The Shane Creative-directed music video finds the Artists (and Vybz Kartel via a face swap filter) in the streets with the people, and they perform their parts in various locations. It was reported earlier this week that Vybz Kartel is dealing with some health-related issues, and we hope he gets the right help at this time.

Dancehall Artist Jada Kingdom has been busy maintaining a large fanbase, and releasing content that quickly turn into favourites. Earlier this year, she started previewing a couple freestyles on Social Media, and may open up a lane of turning them into a series. Earlier she released one of those freestyles called, “Understanding“.

Directed by Sargz & Etim, Jada Kingdom shares her intention to be with one with a particular person. She shares some of her feelings for him, and if he makes the right moves, then they’ll be powerful together. Nigerian hitmaker Adekule Gold is gearing up to release his first full length project as one of the newest signees of the legendary Def Jam Records later this year. Before that however, he’s warming things up with the recent release of his “Tio Tequila” EP. Earlier today, he added a lil more heat with the visual for one of the EP’s tracks, “Do You Mind?“.

Directed by MOM, Adekunle Gold finds himself at a small Nightclub where he takes the stage in a flashy way, and getting cozy with a lovely lady at the bar. Gold is smooth with the vibes on “Do You Mind?”, and it’s expected to do a lot of damage this summer at a party near you. “Do You Mind?” was produced by Kel-P, and featured on the 3 track “Tio Tequila” EP that will set the tone for Gold’s Def Jam debut, and his first project since “Catch Me If You Can” from 2022. Dancehall Artist Masicka has come a long way in his career, and has solidified his place as a Dancehall great. He stepped into the 2010s with a hunger and determination, and despite beefs and setbacks, he has grown to higher levels in his lane. He still wants more, and is working towards that. He shares a few words in the visual for the single, “Tyrant“.

Directed by Ruppi for Now Or Never, Masicka eyes new ambitions and new goals on “Tyrant”. While he recognizes his now legendary status, he speaks on what it took to get him here, and he wishes to leave a legacy on the 1Syde Records release. The visual finds him seated in a Mansion with a few ladies where he shares his speech, and in other times in the streets with his brethren. The legendary Culo Culo makes an appearance, and Masicka debuts a nice “1Syde” piece in its bejeweled glory.

While the fans await Masicka’s follow up to “438” which will be on Def Jam Records, they have to just enjoy the current offerings. 1Syde till the land slide. Wacky dip!
