Rygin King Shares His Pain Through “Therapy”!

Over 2 years ago, Dancehall Artist Rygin King was a victim of assault. In the assault, he experienced pain in the form of losing a loved one, and received critical injury as a result. While he lives to tell the tale, his injury paralyzed him in the process. He made the revelation of his paralysis recently to the shock of many around the world, but has gained massive support in the end. He recently announced his new album, “Therapy“, and we get to check out the music video for the title track.

Directed by Jay Badz, Rygin King finds himself in a support group in “Therapy“, and takes the spotlight to share his pain. Music has always been a form of therapy for many, and Rygin lets us know how he’s really feeling. The video also finds him trying to adjust to his Wheelchair bound life, and some of the frustration that comes with it. His road to recovery is a long one, but with faith, prayer, and focus, he will be on his feet literally, and figuratively. Rygin King has a lot more to say, and the world will be ready to hear his “Therapy” album come September 9. Pre-order the album here. Dancehall Recording Artist 450 continues to elevate with a career that has been respected by many. Bounty Killa & Prado Run Things On “As A Badman”!

The legendary Bounty Killa continues to uphold his role as a Dancehall Giant, even at 50 years old. Still influencing and providing a voice as an elder, it’s hard to find an Artist who isn’t seen as one of his kids, or grandkids. Come this Saturday (July 23), he will take the stage at one of Jamaica’s greatest musical events, Reggae Sumfest. Before that however, he needed to make a statement in the video for “As A Badman“.

On the Prado assisted single, Bounty Killa lists out the bullet points for what it takes to assume the role of a “Badman“, and calls out those who violate certain guidelines. Prado gives his points as well, and the duo make a great tune over a production that’s fit for a Gangsta. The accompanying Tinman (Swag TV Filmz) directed music video, we see a story play out of a badman who causes trouble in the community, but in the end gets a dose of his own medicine. ZJ Rush, Shane O, Predator, and Chronic Law make cameo appearances in the video, with the later playing a key role throughout.

Bounty Killa is also working on his upcoming “King Of Kingston” album that has well anticipated since its announcement a couple years ago. While the tracklist has gone through a few changes, Bounty is taking his time with what could be called his best body of work. Skillibeng Connects With @Mura_Masa_ & @King_Salieu On “Blessing Me”

Dancehall Artist Skillibeng continues to show that his spot in Dancehall was not a mistake. Taking his talents to new markets, he has gotten his name in various parts of the US, resulting in more bookings and collaborations. Outside the US, Skillibeng has been doing damage, on Social Media, he is a viral sensation thanks to tracks including “Whap Whap” and “Blessing Me“, a collaboration with UK/US based Producer Mura Masa, and British Rapper Pa Salieu. Today, we present to you the official music video for the latter.

Directed by Emmanuel Cossu, the video for “Blessing Me” is done in a retro style with the addition of various backdrops, beautiful Women, and the featured Artists. Skillibeng is the standout here, and his contribution pairs well with Pa Salieu’s vibe, and Mura Masa’s easy-going production. Skillibeng continues to surprise (and upset) many, and we look forward to see what’s next for him. Maybe we hear him on a few more Mura Masa beats in the future. Proverbs 5:18.
