Tonight on Onstage, Lady Saw shared a few words with Winford Williams. Here she spoke about her “Infidelity” single with Bugle and their experiences (See video below), her performance at Sting 2013 and reasons for regretting it, working with rapper Flo-Rida, stepping away from the music scene for a short while which included going to church overseas, being a victim of internet hackers (Twitter and Facebook), new projects including music with Markus Myrie, and family life. While many 12 year olds are focusing on studies, sports and high school activities, Trinidadian Jeromy Rodriguez is a reigning Junior Soca Monarch, President/Founder of the Anti-Bullying Association of Trinidad and Tobago. Tonight on Onstage he spoke on a few things with Winford Williams. Here he discussed how he came about starting his Anti-Bullying Association and his campaigns in Jamaica and T&T, his music career and his experiences in the Soca Monarch competitions, his inspirations and aspirations for the future. With Vybz Kartel seeing life in prison, many members of the music fraternity expressed their thoughts on the situation. Twin of Twins however expressed that Kartel was used as a scapegoat and they went on Onstage to further expound on that and more. Here they spoke about violence in Jamaica, the justice system, encouraging the media to promote positive things and stop bashing Dancehall music, and their new project which includes an extension of their “Stir It Up” series. Not a bad interview here, the twins have always spoken out against many things that happen in society whether in interviews or through their mixtape, and encouraging upliftment of the people. In just a couple years, Reggae artist Chronixx has become a household name worldwide. With captivating lyrics and an awesome stage presence, there’s no stopping the 21 year old artist. Tonight he joined Winford Williams to speak on a few things. Here he spoke about his upcoming “Dread And Terrible” project and the meaning of the name, being the jack of all musical trades and being around multifaceted people, accomplishing so much in his youth and giving it up to his ever expanding team, being independent, going on a European tour, and being more serious about his career and making the right investments. Great Interview here, with the way his career is going it’s only right that he molds it the way he wants it to be and ensures that no faults are being made.
