Exes, how many of us have them? Whether you have maintained a good relationship with them after the breakup, or they rubbed you the wrong way, they’re a part of our love history. Recording Artist Major Myjah has his share of exes, and he speaks on them in his new single, “Exes“.

Produced by Triangle Park and L3GION, Major Myjah deals with past lovers who still want a piece of him in, “Exes”. He finds himself wondering why he can’t get rid of them, but then he realizes there were a few reasons for that. With all of that going on, he’s trying not to let them get in the way of his love life currently. Major has shown some growth with his songwriting and vocal delivery in recent times, and he’s looking to take his name to higher levels this year. “Exes” looks to be a Summer hit locally and Internationally, and a Music Video is expected to follow up shortly. Dancehall/Pop Artist Shenseea has taken her brand and music to various parts of the world, and the work never stops. Since breaking out in 2016, she has been building her fanbase with hits, and ushered in new movements. Her name soon brought International acclaim, and soon found herself working with many from Tyga, to Masego, to Kanye West. She aims for more with the release of her sophomore album, “Never Gets Late Here“.

Featuring 14 tracks, Shenseea expands her catalogue with “Never Gets Late Here”, and show that her flame has not been outed. While she received mixed reviews for her debut album and criticism for comments made prior to that, she shared that she would return to her Dancehall roots. It’s up to the listener to determine if she’s back in the department with the new project. Production on NGLH include the likes of Rvssian, Di Genius, Gitty Music, Stargate, Supah Mario, Romeich Entertainment, London On Da Track, and Supa Dups, while Masicka, WizKid, Anitta, and Coi Leray show up with contributions to further enhance the listening experience. Earlier this year, South African Recording Artist Tyla released her self-titled debut album. The album featured a number of collaborations including one with Dancehall Artist Skillibeng and ATL Rapper Gunna on a track called, “Jump“, and it has been receiving a lot of love. As the track continues to do well on streaming, Tyla follows it up with the release of the official Music Video.

Directed by Nabil and shot in Jamaica and Johannesburg, South Africa, Tyla gives us plenty to see in her video for, “Jump”. Tyla shares the screen with a number of dancers, Men who seek her affection, fellow South Africans and parts of their culture and everyday life, and Rapper Gunna. Skillibeng was unable to be present so his parts were shot in Jamaica, and features a number of familiar faces. Tyla continues to take her name to new platforms, and many look forward to see what’s next from her. Here’s to more Skillibeng collaborations as well as he has been on fire internationally, and Gunna continues to rise despite a few low points in his life.
