Snoop Dogg, in collaboration with Noisey Music, produced a series on the music scene in Jamaica called “Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show“. Hosted by Codine Williams, the first episode features currently Incarcerated artist, Vybz Kartel. Here they speak on his impact on Dancehall culture the world over, his current challenges, reactions from his fans, and they also show activities that were held in his hometown. Not bad for the first episode, they even have a voicenote from Kartel as well. Looking forward to what else this series has to offer, that man and his “twang” though. NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @RynoDiStinger

While Sting 2012 was just a few days, the air has cleared and many questions needed answers. One of the questions involves the short fight between former Portmore Empire artist Black Ryno and current artist Popcaan. Winford Williams sat Ryno on the Onstage set to talk about the Sting incident, premiering his new song/video “Courage“, the possibility of a clash in the near future, upcoming projects and others. Remember this one? It’s not the typical Christmas song but we can say it’s a Ramping Shop version. Vybz Kartel and Sheba share sexual lyrics in this one and as the title suggests, it’s “Like Christmas“. The video was funny to me for this was when Vybz Kartel was really “brown” and he almost blended with the snow scene. NEW VIDEO: @TommyLeeRV – Some Bwoy

With news of the Portmore Empire disbanding, that didn’t stop former member Tommy Lee from releasing a video for one of his hit songs. “Some Bwoy” was directed by Celebrity of Heavy Films and features Tommy Lee being surrounded by his peers while deejaying his hit song.
