Dancehall artiste D’Angel has been creating quite a stir in Africa with the release of her remix with African Grammy winner and recording artiste Stone Bwoy. The single is called ‘Tingisha’ on the Chaskele Rhythm produced by Rebel Liberation Records. D’Angel shared “since the release of the single, my African fan base has grown tremendously; now I have promoters calling and I am hoping to plan a tour soon”. King Rebel the producer shared that the single is in great demand and it is the “anthem in Nairobi”.

The First Lady who is presently on a North American Tour added that she felt “elated” after several fans reached out to her on social media advising her that the single has been playing on the radio stations in Kenya, Nairobi, Namibia, and Uganda to name a few. She shared “having your fans, selectors and radio personalities reach out to me is amazing; I love all my fans and to know I am doing well abroad is always a great feeling”. D’Angel was recently featured in The Star stated that she was demanding her respect in the music industry. The ‘Stronger’ artiste defended her success and made it clear that she has no intention to slow down. She has since performed on several stages while on tour and has created a long lasting impact on each state she has visited.

Now promoting singles such as ‘Ramp Ruff’, ‘Gimmie Likkle More’ and ‘Whine Factory, D’Angel is eager to return to Jamaica for her promotional runs before leaving again to finish her tour.

PRESS RELEASE: Teejay Set To Perform At @ReggaeSumfest 2015

Several Montego Bay based artistes will be featured on this year’s staging of Reggae Sumfest. Up and coming artiste Teejay is one such artiste who is eager to grace the stage for the second time. He shared “The first time I performed at Sumfest, I wasn’t actually booked but I was called on stage by my friend Ryme Minista and it turned out to be a great experience for me”.

Teejay will perform at Reggae Sumfest on the 16th of July which is branded as Dancehall Night. The event held at Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex in Montego Bay is set to deliver mind blowing performances from some of Jamaica’s greats. The artiste, who recently released his single ‘Real Hot’ produced by Good Good Production on the Liquor Riddim is also in promotion mode. Teejay shared that he is excited to perform this single for patrons at Sumfest along with his other singles including ‘Buss Head’, ‘True Friend’ and ‘World Come Down’.

Teejay is set to release the video for ‘Real Hot’ locally this week and reminds his fans to support Reggae Sumfest 2015.

PRESS RELEASE: @DAngel_Music Brings Caribbean Heat To North American Fans

The First Lady herself, D’Angel, has been creating waves on her present North American tour. It’s nothing new to us that the ever ‘Blazing’ D’Angel has been creating quite a buzz .She has taken to her stages high energy performances fused with lyrical content and her intriguing style. She recently performed at a Summer Day Rave concert in Philadelphia and Future FM’s One Year Anniversary show in New York City which are only two of the many shows she has lined up. Her other shows include, Tun up Thursdays in Washington, DC and Wifey vs Matey in Florida, just to name a few.

Her US fans have long requested the presence of D’Angel and have been turning out in their numbers to see the First Lady perform. She delivered some of her latest singles such as ‘Ramp Ruff’, ‘Gimmi Likkle More’ and ‘Come Get It’ but her older singles such as ‘Stronger’ and ‘Hot Gyal a Road’ had the female fans singing along. D’Angel who has performed on many major stages in Jamaica including Reggae Sumfest and Sting, just to name a few, has had many successes over the years. She is especially known for her high energy performances and her ability to command the attention of any crowd. She, has no doubt, brought this skill and energy to her North American shows and her fans love her for it. “This tour has been amazing and I have no problem performing. When I see the reaction of my fans to my performances I become energised and I want to give them more,” shared D’Angel. “I however can’t wait to go back home to Jamaica and share the same experience,” she added. The ‘Hot Gyal a Road’ artiste is expected to return to Jamaica in a couple of weeks for a promotional run along with making appearances on several Jamaican stages before returning to the US to complete her 6 month tour.

Her final show before her return will take her to Elks Lounge, Connecticut on July 11, 2015 for ‘D’Angel Invasion’.

PRESS RELEASE: @BadGalBambi Releases “Standing There”

Recording artiste Bad Gal Bambi has released her new single, ‘Standing There’. Produced by Stash Di Cash Records, the single speaks to the issue of infidelity in relationships and how Bambi deals with it. Known for her hit single ‘Bad Gal Forward’ which was produced by Ricky Blaze in 2006, and her work with the famed Spragga Benz and producers such as Jah Snowcone and Salaam Remy, Bambi shared that she is ready to take over!

Her unique sound and style are just a few things to look out for but Bambi shared that she is more than a new sound and a pretty face. She shared “I love Hip Hop, Dancehall and R&B, so I fuse them to create my ideal sound; I believe in being innovative with my music”.

Bad Gal Bambi who is based in Brooklyn, New York is now promoting in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean and hopes to visit the islands soon.

PRESS RELEASE: @EladGideon Captures “Wile Life” In New Video

Recording artiste Elad Gideon, who recently released his single ‘Wile Life’ on SoundCloud, is set to release a music video for the song. The video was shot with the assistance of upcoming director, Shevoneese McFarlane in St. Andrew and Portmore. Elad explained, “The music video comes in the form of a short film. It captures the wild spirit of my single ‘Wile Life’, and highlights the different sides of Jamaica.” He further outlined that the video follows three characters on an adventurous journey. He shared that he was inspired by old movies such as ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘The Town’; “My music video has a similar feeling, but comes with a twist.”

The ‘Wile Life’ artiste is also working closely with his band D’Kreation and his own recording label R-Magedon Republic that he co-owns with childhood friend, Christophe Wesley. The artiste and budding entrepreneur is also preparing to start his promotional runs and tease his single ‘Gringo Style’ which he describes as a ‘spin off’ from ‘Wile Life’. Elad Gideon has also produced singles such as ‘Just Life’ and ‘The Worst’ which will be released later this year.

PRESS RELEASE: @Marr_Reid’s Momentum Builds

Reggae recording artiste Marr is making the necessary moves to improve his musical content and capture a wider audience. With his conscious lyrics and unique sound, Marr has been vigorously promoting his single ‘Stars of Wonder’ on the ‘Other Day Riddim’ produced by 10 Star Recordz and Kapreno Production. Additionally he premiered his video for the single as directed by Haynes Video Production and N.F.E Entertainment on Hype TV’s Up and Live recently.

Marr, who is originally from Old Harbour, St. Catherine shared “Everywhere I go, especially in and around Old Harbour, the fans love the energy of the single and they respect the fact that I used community members in the video as well”. With the support of his community, along with his single getting air play on stations like Suncity 104.9 FM and recently Fame FM, Marr’s fan base has grown tremendously.

In addition to these successes, Marr is gearing up to release his mixtape ‘Rebellution’ in July and continue into the summer with European promotions. He added that even though this is a new experience for him, he is enjoying it and is getting used to being a public figure.
