Protoje has been busy this year. From releasing music, to a sold-out Festival, to building anticipation for his new album, sleep must be missing him a lot. At the end of the day, the work continues. Ensuring the fans stay ready, he unveiled his new single, “Goddess“.

Produced by Winta James and featuring Shenseea, Protoje says it with his chest that he adores the Women in, “Goddess”. Protoje shares his interest in a Queen, while Shenseea knows who she is, but she’s heard it all before. Overall, this is a song that will definitely be a favourite in a collector’s Playlist. The Artists share some chemistry outside of the booth with a SAMO/Filmaica-directed music video, and we get a visual that could turn into a Film ready for the Theatre and Netflix slot. Protoje is getting things in order ahead of his new album, “The Art Of Acceptance“, while Shenseea adds another high profile collaboration to her 2026 list. This one is for the Queens, Empresses, and Goddesses.

Mortimer Gives Us A Visual For “Flowers & Flames”

Within the past couple of years, Recording Artist Mortimer’s time was filled with a number of performances, and he released music that locked in quickly with listeners. The past year also put his name in golden letters as his 2024 debut project, “From Within” was nominated for a GRAMMY for “Best Reggae Album“. He didn’t win the coveted award, but the rest of the world started paying more attention to him. Fresh off of the red carpet, he gives us a visual for the single, “Flowers & Flames“.

Directed by SAMO, Mortimer puts his music on the screens again with the Visualizer for his 2025 single, “Flowers & Flames”. The visual is filled with warm tones throughout, complimenting Mortimer’s performance, and the flames that are present. “Flowers & Flames” quickly became a favourite for listeners, and if you’re in Jamaica, you can hear it being performed live at the upcoming “Lost In Time Festival” on February 28 at Hope Gardens in Kingston. They say life is the greatest thing, and it’s a blessing to live it in the best way possible. Overall, it’s all about living a life that’s greater than what it was the day, month, or year before. Dancehall Artist Kranium understands that motive, and speaks on living a “Higher Life“.

Produced by CJ The Chemist and featuring Dancehall Artist Chronic Law, Kranium focuses on a more elevated way of living on “Higher Life”. Instead of chasing what everyone else is chasing, one should be more appreciative of where they are now, and find ways to improve that situation. Both Artists reflect on what they’ve experienced earlier in life, appreciate the higher power that has been there for them, and are now enjoying what their hard work has provided for them. They both had the drive and determination to succeed, and are encouraging others to stay focused. The Samo-directed Music Video finds the Artists taking themselves to different locations where they can enjoy life with a few loved ones, and not be held down by the burdens that attempt to hold them hostage. “Higher Life” looks to be a part of everyone’s Playlist, and is a great choice for that Summer/All Year Round Playlist. Protoje is at it again. For over a decade, the Artist has been providing music that connects with the listener in various ways, and has built a movement that has been growing rapidly around the world. Fresh off of his massive staging of the “Lost In Time Festival“, Protoje releases, “Legend Legend“.

Produced by The FaNaTiX, Protoje solidifies his position as an Icon in “Legend Legend”. The track is a testament of the impact he has had in his music career, and we are aware of the work it took to get there. The song also recognizes another legend, Bob Marley. Even after his death in 1981, Marley is a global Icon, and the recent release of the “Bob Marley: One Love” Film is evidence that the Gong is generational. Fun Fact: Protoje name dropped Bob Marley albums throughout “Legend Legend”. Accompanying the single, is a Music Video directed by Samo, and it finds Protoje in his element, and shares highlights of what happened at the 2023 staging of the “Lost In Time Festival”. Recording Artist Jesse Royal continues to make strides with his music. Still pushing his latest album “Royal“, he’s ensuring that good music will never die. The album has been getting positive feedback since its release, and Jesse is keeping up with content for it. The album’s opener “High Tide Or Low” is given the music video treatment.

Directed by Samo Kush, Jesse Royal teams up with Samory-I to give us a strong track that possesses powerful deliveries from both Artists as they trod through this life with their faith intact. Jesse keeps it lyrical while Samory-I gives us amazing vocals over Blaise Davis and Jordan Armond production. The visuals presented compliments the song really well, and captures the Artists in their element. Watch to the end for a cute moment courtesy of Jesse that emphasizes that at the end of the day, family is very important. “High Tide Or Low” was placed at the right spot on “Royal” so that listeners knew from jump that they’re in for a great listening experience. After the Storm is a calm, that’s why I hold on. Never let Jah go!

The World is going crazy, and everyday is something new. From crime, to poverty, to pandemics, we need an outlet to escape to. Luckily, music provides that, and today, we get some from GRAMMY winning Recording Artist Medisun looks to bring us peace with his new single, “Speak Love“.

Released through Zion I Kings Productions, Medisun sought the talents of Teflon Zincfence (Drums), Jah D (Bass), Moon Bain (Guitar), and the late Drew Keys (Keys) to give us musical healing, and vibes that are truly unmatched. With lyrics that prompt meditation and reconnecting with oneself, Medisun has done his part in making our days a little better with his music. Accompanying the single is a music video that was directed by Samo Kush, and it finds Medisun performing the track and giving us plenty visual art to enjoy. When you need to get away from the madness of the world, you need music from the likes of Medisun to enjoy, and zone out to. It’s time to heal, and speak love!
