DJ/Producer Walshy Fire is really busy these days. While he does his time with Major Lazer, he dabbles in a lot of solo work and assisting the careers of many of your faves. This year however, Walshy sets to release his debut solo effort titled, “ABENG“! With days before its release, he unleashes the visual for “Call Me“! Directed by Jocelyn Cooper, this features Afrobeats star Mr. Eazi, and Dancehall Artist Kranium. With their blend of Dancehall and Afrobeats, this one goes out to all the ladies who need a lover to call on. The summer comes early with this collab, and Walshy Fire has a lot more to unleash when “ABENG” drops on June 7.
This one is for all the lovers! After dropping the lyric video in February, Dancehall Singjay Kranium gives us the visual for “No Odda“. Directed by Walu, Kranium looks back at the first time he met his special lady, and highlighting a few moments together including a time he got in trouble with some female fans. Shout out to JLL Prod. and Producedbykrs for working on this one! A tune that is dedicated to the one that holds it down when “no odda” one was, check it out below. While you’re here, show us some love on Instagram at @13thStreetPromo.
There comes a time in a relationship where one party gets a lil bit comfortable, and forget a few key things that got the union going. It happens, but it’s up to them to make things right, or keep it moving. Today, US Pop Singer Bebe Rexha warns her lover to get it together or leave on “Comfortable“. Produced by Frank Dukes and features Dancehall Artist Kranium, the two Artists have a lovers’ quarrel where Bebe misses being catered to in different ways, while Kranium lets her know that he tries to do the right things, but the extra duties can’t come that often. While they talk it out, we are greeted with a fun Production that you can’t help but rock to. Score another hit as Kranium has been on a roll with the International collaborations. The single is off Bebe’s “All Your Fault Pt. 2″ EP (Get It Here) which drops tomorrow. Don’t get too comfortable, check out the track below.
Dancehall/Reggae Artists Kranium and Jahmiel have been staying busy these past few months. With the UK getting a dose of their sounds recently, it’s only right they stopped by the infamous Tim Westwood’s Capital XTRA Show. While they fired off a quick Interview, the party started when the Artists kicked off a Freestyle Session over popular Dancehall Riddims. How did they sound? Tune in to them dropping lyrics below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Recording Artist Jahmiel has been an Artist to watch for quite some time now. With singles that slowly crept to many playlists and mixes, he has gained respect from many in the Music fraternity and has become a fan favourite. With a few hits under his belt, he stopped by the Onstage set to reveal what else he has in store. Here the “Young Lion” spoke about his performance at Rebel Salute 2016 with Mavado, the success of his recent hits, touring including his UK Tour with Kranium, his upcoming project with Quantanium Records, and delivering positive music. He also premiered his video for “Where Were You?/Great Man“. An Artist whose career I’ve respected for a long time, glad to see him elevating. Check out the Interview below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Recording Artist Kranium stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club recently and had a chat with Charlamagne, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee. Here he spoke on the origins of his stage name, his single “Nobody Has To Know” being a hit for a few years, his album “Rumors“, collaborating with Ty Dolla Sign and Justine Skye, meeting Amber Rose, rumors including the ongoing one of being engaged to Vanessa Bling, and more. Charlamagne tries his best to sound Jamaican every time a Dancehall/Reggae Artist passes through, and it still isn’t successful. Be sure to catch Kranium at The Breakfast Club’s 5 Year Anniversary Party and get his “Rumors” album on iTunes. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
