Since March 2025, we premiered a new weekly Playlist called, “What’s On 13th Street?“. Since then, we have featured over 900 new songs from Artists in and outside the Caribbean. Earlier this year, Recording Artist Samory I released the critically-acclaimed album, “Revelation“. Known for powerful lyrics and a just as powerful delivery, the album has gone on to connect with the people in great ways. Keeping the album ringing in the streets, Samory released the video for the track, “Warning“.

Directed by Dream Shot This in New York and featuring Keznamdi, Samory I continues to deliver strongly with the release of, “Warning”. The Artists continue to spread the right messages throughout, encouraging people to be more militant, and firm in their meditation. In these crazy times, Artists like Samory uphold the order, and Keznamdi does his part to keep that fire blazing. “Revelation” continues to get spins and streams in the world, and we can look forward to more releases in support of the album.

Recording Artist Samory-I has been dropping heat this year, and he’s not outing the flames. With the lyrics being sharp as always, this Easter Weekend finds him giving fans something to rock to. Check out “Siren“.

The TunUp Squad-produced “Siren” features Dancehall Artist Govana, Samory-I is not causing a crime scene, but bringing in militancy. With a music video directed by DJuvii, the Artists speak on what goes in their communities, reflect on their pasts, but share that their backgrounds have shaped their present stances and presence when they hit the streets. This one is for the clean-hearted people, and Samory and Govi deliver a solid collaboration here. No matter where you’re from, this tune is bound to connect with you. Recording Artist Samory I is one of the more powerful voices in Jamaican music. For well over a decade, he has crafted tracks that have connected with the listener in a variety of ways. He has built a solid catalogue, and it keeps getting better. He starts the year with a powerful message called, “Victory“.

Produced by Tunup Squad and featuring Dancehall Artist Chronic Law, Samory I focuses on the mission in, “Victory”. Joining forces with the “Law Boss“, we get a track that is needed in the streets, and around the world. With a music video directed by Dream Shot This and shot in New York, we see the Artists joining forces while see two brothers interact throughout. The collaboration comes at a time when many are still experiencing hardships, and folks are keeping Chronic Law’s name hot as he had a run in with ICE recently. Protoje’s back with another season of new music. After hitting the road and securing a few connections, Protoje felt it was time to return with a new body of work. This time around, he steps out with album #6 called, “Third Time’s The Charm“!

Featuring 10 tracks, “Third Time’s The Charm” is Protoje’s first project since his 2020 “In Search Of Lost Time” album. In the somewhat short space of time Protoje has been active as a Reggae Artist, it’s impressive that his career has blessed him with the opportunity to release 6 albums. This milestone is just a testament to Protoje’s dedication to his craft, and fans will be pleased with the contents of “TTTC“.

Protoje recruited iotosh, Zion I Kings, Ziah, 8 Track, IV The Polymath, and Cadenza, who all brought their A game on “Third Time’s The Charm”. Protoje is never alone during album mode, and he brought along Jesse Royal, Samory I, Lila Iké, and British Singer Jorja Smith who all made valuable contributions to “TTTC”. Thanks to singles that lead up to the album’s release, Protoje is confident that “Third Time’s The Charm” will be another classic, and will open the floor for plenty opportunities come 2023.
