This Mixtape was the perfect trip down memory lane for an 80s baby like me. It brought me back to the good old days of listening to Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg while driving around Kingston with my Uncle.

2. 2016 Soca Teaser – Shane Talon

Carnival 2016 is well on the horizon so you know that means loads of new Soca hits to usher any Socaphile into the season. Shane Talon is another 13thStreetPromotions find and I think his mixes are simply superb. This one is no different.

With Shane Talon and We R Young handling the DJ duties, Dreggae steps into the booth like a young Mike Tyson to viciously run through any beat that is thrown at him. PxP a.k.a. The Passport Experience is an annual Festival held at the Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia. With its first staging held on July 19 and Rapper Akon handling the hosting duties, patrons got to experience a wide range of talent on stage. Dreggae, who was booked to perform, was joined by DJ Shane Talon and the Lipstik Bandits and delivered some of his great selections. Filmed by Sean G. and D. Today’s new mixtape comes from Atlanta based deejay, Dreggae. Titled “Lights Low Mixtape” and mixed by Shane Talon, this is a showcase of some of Dreggae’s current tracks and remixes.
