After leaving the Portmore Empire, many thought Black Ryno would’ve faded away from the Dancehall scene. In efforts to not fade away he was a part of Sting 2012 where things got ugly between he and former Gaza brethren Popcaan. In 2013 he redeemed himself on that stage by defeating Kiprich in a war of words. Since then the question has been, “What has Ryno been up to?” and he answered on Onstage. He spoke about the projects he has been working on, Sting 2012 and 2013, thoughts on the Vybz Kartel verdict and sentencing, why he left the Portmore Empire, defending his Clash title at Sting 2014, and previewed new music. Looking forward to hear more work from Black Ryno as he was one of the artists I’ve looked out from the Gaza camp.

Tonight on Onstage, Lady Saw shared a few words with Winford Williams. Here she spoke about her “Infidelity” single with Bugle and their experiences (See video below), her performance at Sting 2013 and reasons for regretting it, working with rapper Flo-Rida, stepping away from the music scene for a short while which included going to church overseas, being a victim of internet hackers (Twitter and Facebook), new projects including music with Markus Myrie, and family life. It’s unfortunate that Lady Saw was hacked but I’ll be looking forward to her new material. John John is here to stay. Check out the videos below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Following his win at the Sting 2013 clash, Black Ryno has been steadily releasing singles. Recently he released the video for the single, “Baddest Thing“. Directed by Terminal 4 Media, Ryno is seen showing off his Clash Champion belt and declaring that he’s the “Baddest Thing” while being accompanied by dancing ladies. Looking forward to more Ryno singles this year and although it’s too early to call and minus the jabs he’s received lately, who will clash with him? After becoming a finalist in the Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall competition, Stylsyh managed to make a name for herself with a few moderate hits. Tonight on Onstage she had a talk with host Winford Williams about a few things. Here she spoke about Vybz Kartel being an influence in her career, being a part of Tommy Lee Sparta’s crew, owning a Nightclub, her first hit single, her upcoming album, leaving the corporate world for music, Sting 2013 and other things. Stylysh also premiered her music video for the single “Rave“. I know her single with Vybz Kartel is still doing its rounds so I hope her upcoming projects are successful.
