A happy Mothers’ Day to all mothers out there and as a show of appreciation, 13thStreetPromotions posts one of two songs. The first song comes from singer OMI and is titled “My Old Lady (A Tribute To All Mothers)“. Produced by Oufah Productions, this is OMI taking the time out to say thanks, being forever in debt and showing so much love to his mom and encouraging others to do the same as well. Today’s new video comes from Irie FM disc jock/Artist DJ Sunshine also known as Katrina. Titled “Why Worry” and directed by RD Studios, we see Katrina being one with nature and dropping positive lyrics about having no fear for Jah is by her side. Clean video by RD Studios and a great effort from Katrina as I had a liking for the song and just discovering that she was actually DJ Sunshine. From bursting on the dancehall scene in 2007 with dance songs there’s no slowing down from the duo RDX and tonight they visited the Onstage set. Here they spoke about their progress since their debut, their style of music and how they’ve managed to tap into the Soca market, their image, learning the music business, current success and future projects. They also premiered their single “Summer Days” that you can also hear here. Good interview, RDX has been known to burn up the dances so I don’t expect anything less from them for the rest of the year. What you think? On tonight’s episode of Onstage, deejay QQ made his way onto the set to have a chat with Winford Williams. Sporting a leather trench coat, he spoke on his absence from the dancehall scene to attend to exams, his current and future projects, not following the crowd and even premiering his “One Drop” music video. Mixtape Movements: @DaxLion – Rise Natty

Today’s mixtape comes from Reggae singer Dax Lion. Titled “Rise Natty” and mixed by Supa Nova, this is 17 tracks promoting consciousness, positivity, clean lyrics and Rastafarianism. Featuring acts such as Judah Tribe, Iyah Gift, Eddie-B and Biggz General, this is a wonderful effort from the young artist. NEW VIDEO: @Lincoln3Dot – Wild For The Night (Remix)

It’s Lincoln 3 to the D-O-T with a new video for the fans. Titled “Wild For The Night (Remix)” and directed by Dakaration and Inix Designz this is 3Dot dropping his polished lyrics of  money, girls, and being better than the rest over the A$AP Rocky track of the same name. It’s given the black and white treatment and 3Dot deejaying in one spot. It would’ve been cool if there were different locations used and maybe some colourful graphics.
