PRESS RELEASE: Is @QQWorld Settling Down?

Dancehall artiste QQ’s recent single entitled ‘Number One’ has had many single ladies turning their heads. The single produced by Johnny Wonder of 21st Hapilos Production and Adde Instrumentals on the Lost Keys Riddim speaks to a mysterious lady that could be QQ’s better half. With lines such as “no matter if mi have a million gal…. you a di one” and “…more time mi act selfish I’m only human and the only thing that matter to me a dat you a di one” have caused many to ask who is the mysterious lady?

The One Drop artiste embarked on his Jack Hammer Tour in March and has performed on over 30 stages to screaming female fans. It is no surprise that QQ, who is now a father has a large female fan base after his transformation in recent times. When asked about this mysterious lady QQ shared, “I love all ladies but you have to settle down at some point in time; as to if I am settling down, I would let the song answer that”.

With the success of the Jack Hammer Tour, QQ has had many high points and one low. GQ, Manager and father of QQ had shared in a recent release that QQ had been recovering from a series of nose bleeds caused by his frequent flying. QQ is now back on track and has since released ‘Next One’ produced by Dre Skull and ‘Pound and a Half a mix Flour’ produced by QG Productions.

QQ, who is presently in Canada, will release his ‘Jack Hammer’ video this week.

PRESS RELEASE: Spookie (@BrainTear_Music) Still Scoring Big With “Hurt It Up”

Dancehall recording artiste Spookie received his big break with the release of the hit single ‘Hurt it Up’. This single has certainly placed Spookie high up the ladder of the dancehall scene, landing him more dedicated fans and more opportunities.

Spookie shared, “The experience is great! To hear a large crowd of people sing my song word-for-word is breath taking”. He explained that the love he has been receiving for his single has extended far beyond the UK; “My overseas fans have been reaching out to me and giving me a lot of positive energy and I respect that, especially my fellow Jamaicans”. Spookie who presently resides in the UK has not just pleased UK patrons but has garnered the attention of producers in Jamaica as well. Through several major websites and his social media, Jamaican fans have seen Spookie excel at major shows like Pelpa Fest and Goodas since the start of this year.

He added “In addition to those shows I was on the Good Book UK Tour with Demarco and I have also been on shows with Gully Bop. I read all the comments from the websites and from my mediums and as such I will in Jamaica this summer promoting and reaching out to my loyal fans”. The ‘Hurt it Up’ artiste also shared that this is just the beginning adding that he has plans to become a household name in Dancehall music.

Spookie shared that he is more “focused” than ever and is now preparing for his highly anticipated appearance in Jamaica this upcoming summer.

PRESS RELEASE: @ProdiVOP876 To Host Album Launch This Month

Reggae recording artiste Prodi (formally known as Prodigal Son) will be hosting his first reggae album launch at Emmanuel Apostolic Church on April 24 at 8 p.m. The Circle Small artiste has stirred up much controversy with this move from gospel to reggae, but reminds his fans that God is still the head of his life. Prodi shared: “I am a Christian, and my choice to do positive music is, a personal one that I made with God”. Last June, Prodi released his Reggae EP Voice of The People, which was a success. This EP led to several international features, including one in the famed Rolling Stones magazine.

The album, Perfectly Imperfect From Kingston City, will feature 13 singles, inclusive of powerful hits such as Hustlers Anthem, Kingston City, Never Leave and Circle Small. Prodi and his ‘Yawd Movement’ kicked off 2015 with his much-talked-about performance at Rebel Salute and continued the year with much success. “I am very excited about this year’s achievements and I strongly believe that this year is the year I make bigger steps in reggae music,” he said.

Prodi has been planning his Devotion Tours in schools in Kingston and St Andrew and will be visiting a few community youth clubs to share his message through positive music. He added: “I get judged a lot and oftentimes by those who do not take the time to listen to the content of my music and the powerful messages that we share with people. “This album shows that even though we are perfectly made in the sight of God, we all make mistakes and, as such, we are perfectly imperfect”.

Prodi recently released the video for Never Leave and is on his promotional runs for the album.

PRESS RELEASE: @QQWorld Sports New Look!

Dancehall recording artiste QQ has been flaunting a new image. The ‘One Drop’ artiste who recently made an appearance on Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall turned many heads with his new ‘do’ and his militant attire. “I have been in entertainment for some time now and my fans have seen me grow. I think at every phase in my life from childhood to being a teenage and now an adult it is imperative for me to rebrand” shared QQ.

When asked about the reception of the fans to the new look, QQ shared “the female fans love it and I receive a lot of fan mail and comments on social media about it”. The artiste added that his team chose this look after being inspired by international pop sensations ‘Prince’ and ‘Michael Jackson’.

While QQ was introduced to us at the tender age of 10, the ‘Stookie’ artiste have made several changes and further created massive waves in his 11 years of pursuing music. With successes from singles such as ‘Jack Hammer’, ‘One Drop’, and ‘Turn Me On’ to name a few, QQ does not intend on slowing down. He added, “Music to me is an art, it is my lifestyle and my passion. I am working even harder to produce more hits”.

QQ is set to embark on his ‘Jack Hammer Tour’ this March in the United States and Canada.

NEW MUSIC: @OutstandinJLuga – Bun Raper

With strong lyrics in his arsenal, Dancehall artist J. Luga speaks out against rapists and child abusers in his latest single. Titled “Bun Raper” and produced by Prolific Records, Luga gets at those who seek pleasure in abusing children and taking advantage of women, and warns that there will be dire consequences if they continue to do these evil acts. With Rape being a topic in the news, J. Luga believes in the anti-rape movement and will bring justice for those who have experienced the hurt and will protect others from being a statistic. PRESS RELEASE: @KirkAlert1 Is Ready To Shine Each And Everyday

Upcoming artiste Kirk Alert is making his voice heard with his new single ‘Each and Everyday’. The single which has been receiving airplay in Jamaica and New York features artistes Vision and Scrue and was produced by Shevon ‘Diego’ Parchment on the ‘Di Love Zone Riddim’.

“Each and Everyday is about youths and their struggles in the streets” shared Kirk who is a father of three girls. The video for the single by Lagikz Supreme Studios was shot in Seaview Gardens in Kingston and Brooklyn, New York featuring Kirk Alert and several children. Kirk added “As an artiste, it is important that I use my voice to spread a positive message and as a father it is imperative for me to try to make a change”.

Kirk Alert started recording music in his early twenties and has since built a name for himself in the streets of New York. The artiste has been promoting and making several appearances in the city and is eager to share more of his music on the Jamaican music scene.

He is set to release his mix tape entitled ‘Spotlight Invasion’ featuring several new singles in March.
