Today’s new video is Reggae artist Jahmiel’s dedication to all the real fathers out there. Titled “Real Father” and directed by Kalila Anderson and Ricardo Williams, Jahmiel sings about the times his father has been there for him and showing respect to all the fathers out there who doing the same for their kids. This video also features cameo appearances from Producer Notnice, Keznamdi, Bugle, Rum Blood of Ward 21, DJ Razz, Richie Feelings, Gyptian, Vybrant, and Clive Hunt. This is a really great song as not many artists dedicate songs for the fathers. Great effort on the video as we see scenes of fathers being around their children and even photos of a younger Jahmiel. After facing some backlash from the gay community since her performance at the 2013 Jamaica Grand Gala, Queen Ifrica stepped on Onstage to discuss her “beef” with them and more. Here she spoke about the “Gay Agenda” that is out for her and other Dancehall artists, the Grand Gala incident, understanding the gay community and their intentions, counselling gays and shared experiences with them, her song “Keep It To Yourself“, encouraging the community to use different means to seek their rights, focusing on her career, family life, saying that Jamaicans are not Homophobic and more. Tonight he had a chat with Winford Williams about the things that are going on in his life. Here he spoke about his former boss’ guilty verdict and sentencing, gaining popularity overseas and his experiences, staying away from conflicts and being a big part of his family, his debut album “Where We Come From“, and his upcoming performance in Jamaica. Winford Williams also gave Popcaan some words of encouragement in the end and I also liked how he spoke about his little brother’s progress. Switching up the gender role today is Deejay Spice with her new video. Titled “Like A Man“, Spice speaks on the gender inequality in Dancehall and asks if she would be respected more if she was a male deejay and dropped different lyrics. She also introduces “Splice“, the male version of Spice which was rather hilarious and shows her on camera diversity.
