With news of her signing to Island Kings Records, Tifa has been toiling hard over the years to become a success in the Dancehall scene. Sitting on the set for the first time, she had a chat with Winford Williams about that and more. Here she spoke on the details of her new record deal, furthering her global popularity, her single “Body Up” being featured in the Netflix series “Hemlock Grove“, working on a music video for “Back It Up” and the success of that single, getting her start in her music career, the challenges she’s faced before and during her career, proving many people wrong with her talent, avoiding conflicts in the Music Fraternity and encouraging unity among female artists, releasing her first big budget music video and hosting an event for it, Reggae Sumfest 2014, future projects and endorsements. Loved this Interview here, looking forward to the new developments in her career. There’s no slowing down of her progress. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
From New York to Jamaica, Kranium has been steadily making a name for himself in the Dancehall scene. With his single “Nobody Has To Know” burning up airwaves to even being cosigned by Rapper Drake, Kranium stopped by Onstage for the first time to further “Buss” himself to the Jamaican public. Here he spoke about his upbringing in New York, getting his start in the music business including toiling to get a break in New York, the success of “Nobody Has To Know” and the story behind it, and furthering his success with future projects. Not a bad Interview here, Kranium also presented the music video to his single. I respect what Kranium has done and as Winford described it, his success is one of the rare ones. When he wins, Jamaica wins. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
There comes a time in relationships where things can get rough. While fights may occur, Singer Berri lets us know that she can’t let go the one she loves in her new video. Titled “I Can’t Let Go” and directed by Asha and Julia B. and shot in various locations in Jamaica, we see Berri going through good and bad times with her gentleman. She shows that even when they fell out, they somehow end up being good again after a while. Not a bad effort here from the singer as many can relate to her lyrics and even some of the scenes. Word on the street is there are 3 videos done for this song, will she release the others? Stay tuned. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Today’s new video comes from the Rapper Action Bronson and Vice’s “Munchies” series. Titled “Fuck That’s Delicious!“, this is a Vlog that features Action’s culinary taste during his travels. A trained Chef prior to pursuing music, he starts off the video prepping one of his dishes for himself and friends. The video gets more interesting when he takes a trip to “Clive’s Cafe” in Miami Florida and exclaimed his love for Jerk Chicken, Curried Chicken, Oxtails, Patty and Coco Bread and Ting soft drink. He also gave praises to the Restaurant for their culinary skills. Further in the video he and his crew stopped at a BBQ Restaurant in Pennsylvania and expressed how the meal made him break out into the “Butterfly“, which was very popular in Dancehall circles. He also checked out meals in other places throughout his video and gave a tutorial in a couple of his meals. Fans of the rapper and Jamaican cooking will love this one. For those new to the series, Bronson is a character so he gets carried away with his words at times. Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
