SOSnAfter becoming a finalist in the Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall competition, Stylsyh managed to make a name for herself with a few moderate hits. Tonight on Onstage she had a talk with host Winford Williams about a few things. Here she spoke about Vybz Kartel being an influence in her career, being a part of Tommy Lee Sparta’s crew, owning a Nightclub, her first hit single, her upcoming album, leaving the corporate world for music, Sting 2013 and other things. Stylysh also premiered her music video for the single “Rave“. I know her single with Vybz Kartel is still doing its rounds so I hope her upcoming projects are successful. He may be locked up, but he can still make it for a music video. In collaboration with Mental Chung who is famous for the “Dutty Bwoy” animation series, Vybz Kartel and Rvssian bring to you their new music video. Titled “Hi“, we see a digital version of Kartel using his “Hi” references, being surrounded by beautiful women, smoking weed, and travelling to the moon with a digital version of Rvssian. NEW MUSIC: @Mavado_Gully – Soldiers (R.I.P. Roach)

In memory of Producer Patrick “Roach” Samuels’ passing, the Gully God Mavado released a tribute song. Titled “Soldiers” and produced by JA Productions, we hear Mavado paying homage to not only Roach, but to all fallen soldiers over a beautiful production. Patrick Samuels was gunned down on September 15 in Kingston. Patrick Samuels was known for his many productions including Mavado’s “Caribbean Girls” and Vybz Kartel’s “Emergency” and was also Kartel’s Road Manager. He will surely be missed by friends, family and the Dancehall fraternity. Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Today’s video comes in the form of an Interview with Shaggy from the Breakfast Club on NY’s Power 105.1. Here he spoke about some aspects of Jamaica and misconceptions, his start in the music industry, his new album “Out Of Many One Music“, his style of music and many other topics. Interesting Interview from Shaggy although sometimes I was weirded out by the “twang” and the generic questions. That was a crazy story with him and the late James Brown.
