Here he spoke about his upbringing including growing up with his brother Courtney Walsh, being a part of Major Lazer and its popularity in the Caribbean, “Genre Blurring“, working with many top entertainers, working with Chronixx, fatherhood and raising his children in Jamaica, and the Major Lazer concert coming in December. After giving the people hit after hit, Reggae artist Jesse Royal teamed up with Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire to release a new mixtape. Titled “Royally Speaking“, Jesse’s 3rd offering presents some of those same hits and some exclusives that will sure to capture your attention and be a fixture on your music devices. JesseRoyalBeing a member of the fast rising artists which include Protoje, Chronixx and Jah 9, Jesse Royal has been making a name for himself with his blend of music. Now added to the upcoming Reggae Sumfest, he had a quick chat with Winford Williams to speak on that and more. Here he spoke about his start and describing it as “From creeping to walking“, getting great support for his music, being groomed in the Church, being a part of the “Reggae Revolution” and contributing to bring more consciousness to the genre, being a devout Rastafarian, Reggae Sumfest and future projects which include his “Royally Speaking” mixtape with Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire. MLIt’s a major video today from Major Lazer, Masko and Dancehall duo RDX. Titled “Lose Yourself” and shot in Jamaica by Diplo and Shomi Patwary, we see the Major Lazer crew and RDX dropping their musical effort while being surrounded beauties who include Mela Murder, Lafayette Bless, Mystic, and Tiffany.
