On today’s episode of Noisey Jamaica Dancehall Show Gaza Slim is the featured artist. We see Codine Williams, Slim and crew situated at a courthouse in Kingston where Vybz Kartel attended a court date. Here Gaza Slim told Codine about her start in the music business, meeting Vybz Kartel, his incarceration, members of the Portmore Empire, her “Addi” tattoo, and other things. They also visited the West Bank community in Portmore and spoke to a few of Kartel’s fans and learned of the impact Kartel has on the community. Even though it’s a Gaza Slim episode, it felt like more of a Vybz Kartel episode. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Today’s new music comes from Mr. Gaza himself, Vybz Kartel and he brings Flexx from T.O.K. and Monster Twinz along. Titled “Show Me“, the artists deejay about how the ladies gyrate their bodies and entice them. the song’s not bad but I can’t help but think I’ve heard Kartel’s verse or lines before. To kick things off today is a new music video from Vybz Kartel. Titled “Convertible“, we see Vybz Kartel’s stunt double entering a certain location only to see girls come out of nowhere to dance on him. Nothing much to say here apart it’s mainly girls dancing at various part including a Vybz Kartel mural. No features from members of the Portmore Empire, just a few sexy girls, a Benz and Vybz Kartel’s stunt double in a prison uniform. The song is hot however. NEW MUSIC: @IamTheKartel – Mr. Bleach Chin

I can safely say Vybz Kartel is the 2013 Tupac Shakur with his tremendous work ethic. With the Government adding new taxes to more products and services and no increase in pay, many of us really wished we could inherit 1 billion dollars. Titled “Mr. Bleach Chin“, Kartel envisions himself to become a Billionaire like Jamaican Michael Lee-Chin but would refer to himself as “Mr. Bleach Chin“. Vybz Kartel releases a new song called “I Smoke Weed (F**k You)” and is for the smokers and their stance on anyone who opposes their lifestyle. Nothing too crazy on the lyrics part but Kartel manages to impress me with his work ethic. Produced by Adde Productions on the Summer Wave Riddim, click on the video and prepare to be higher than “Heaven’s housetop“.
