tifalyric

Instead of hitting you one time Tifa now hits you with two videos of her recent hits. Titled “Lyrically Educated/Nah Play Wid It” and directed by RD Studios, we hear Tifa dropping her lyrics while switching into various costumes. Tifa and RD Studios seem to be a great collab and i’m looking forward to more from them as I enjoy the visuals from this. I can’t decide which I like more, Tifa in the Pirate costume or the sophisticated look. Come test me nuh? What do you think of the video? Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @TifaMusic – Got It Like That

Today’s new video comes from the Diva herself, Tifa. Titled “Got It Like That” and directed by RD Studios, it starts off with Tifa’s friend getting kicked out by her man only for Tifa to gather her friends and instead of crying and feeling bad they throw a party and celebrate female independence. Featuring cameos from the likes of Miss Kitty, Denyque, Michaela Leeanna and Fashion Enira, this is a very fun video and the cast sure enjoyed making it. That birthday cake was crazy though. What do you think of the video? Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

#Remember911: @EleDiEnergyGod – The Bombing

911

September 11, 2001 will be a day many people will never forget. New York’s famed World Trade Center buildings were destroyed in a terrorist attack which resulted in a loss of many lives and the beginning of a war on terror. While many are remembering the event, Jamaican deejay Elephant Man was one of the few artists that shared their thoughts in the form of a song. Titled “The Bombing” and recorded on the “Martial Arts Riddim“, Ele spoke about the event, how everyone including himself have to be more careful in future travels and hoping that the terrorists were captured. Rest in peace to all who lost lives on that day.

NEW MUSIC: @BunBTrillOG x @RickyRozay x @2Chainz x @SeraniMusic – Fire

bun-b-fire

Jamaicans are everywhere and today’s new music shows that Jamaican artists can be put on alongside big names. Titled “Fire” and features top acts Bun B, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Serani, we hear them bringing the war to anyone who oppose them and their crews. Interesting to hear Bun B and Rick Ross try their hand at patois. This isn’t the first time Serani has lent his hooks to hip hop singles but it’s always great seeing Jamaicans do good things. *”Big belly man, big belly man man“. Off Bun B’s upcoming “Trill 4 Life” album, check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @EddieMurphy x @SnoopLion – Red Light

With Reggae music being a huge influence the world over, it’s no surprise when artists outside of Jamaica taking a crack at it. Two artists that have done so are singer/actor Eddie Murphy and rapper Snoop Dogg/Lion. Titled “Red Light” and directed by John Mazyck, we see Eddie, Snoop and the 1500 or Nothing band jamming to the song along with seeing a young girl walking in her neighbourhood to purchase ice cream while witnessing a few things gone bad which include police arresting a boy and a woman selling her body. Singing is nothing new to the actor as he has released a couple albums and collaborated with the late Rick James and Michael Jackson. Eddie’s album “9” will be released soon. What do you think? Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

In today’s music industry many artists can’t just carry home the bread with only the success of hit songs. It’s all about the artist as a brand and so merchandising is the next step. On Onstage Konshens has a brief chat with Winford Williams about his ventures. Here he spoke about his t shirt line that was done a few years ago, his new shoe line Konz876 along with setting up an outlet in Jamaica, how much input he has in the line, the growth of his career and wanting to climb to higher heights. I do hope he finds much success with his new venture, the game changer sneakers aren’t bad though. What you think? Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
