@NikoChromatic Reveals Battling Kidney Disease, Seeks Assistance For Surgery

If you’re a fan of the “Big Bad SoundChromatic, then you definitely know about Niko a.k.a. Nikomatic a.k.a. NikoChromatic. A founding member of the DJ Collective, he was missing out of the limelight for quite some time. While many speculated a possible rift with the other members, Creep, another founding member, assured fans that he’s still a part of the team. Today, the real reason Niko has been missing from the Collective’s various gigs, and Mixtape releases was the fact that he has been battling Kidney Disease. While the news has sent shock waves across Social Media, Niko stated that his battle can be a short one through the help of surgery and revealing it to the public wasn’t an easy feat. The team recently started a GoFundMe account to seek additional aid for the ailing DJ/MC. While we here at 13thStreetPromotions wish the best for NikoChromatic, we urge you the public to assist in any way by donating via the link below, sharing the article, and of course praying.

“Initiating my first project included hours of hard work and late nights, which resulted in sleepless nights. I enjoyed every minute working on this project, making it a great experience for me,” Bugle said.

Kick Off features 14 tracks from artistes such as Busy Signal, Agent Sasco, Mr Easy, Tifa, Fully Bad, Samboni, Tarrus Riley, Dexta Daps, Dean Loyal, Craigy T, Sizzla, Popcaan, Cobra, Kibaki and Bugle. The compilation is getting rave reviews from fans and industry players alike, showing that it is possible to put out excellent Production with an interesting mix of veterans and up-and-coming Dancehall stars.

“It was a great experience! Working with my colleagues is always a joy. My relationship with them goes deeper than music. We would vibe at the studio cooking, drinking and smoking. “Bring Di Money Come” Says Gospel Artist Goddy Goddy

“Bring Di Money Come” is the latest promotional effort from Gospel act, Goddy Goddy. In the song he portrays a message to the public that being a child of God, doesn’t mean that you have to accept poverty. “God wants us to prosper. He says I wish above all things that you prosper as your soul prospers. God wants us to be blessed, and he wants us to have money” said Goddy Goddy. The song was officially released at the end of 2015 as a part of the W.A.F.I.F (Worship And Faith International Fellowship) Production. The Riddim features other Gospel acts that include Bishop Mclean, Spanner Banner, Mykal Malachi, and many more. The accompanying video medley was shot by noted Director Ariff Butler.

The song has been getting great feedback from the Gospel community so far and is a favourite with many street youths. “The love that I have been getting from the Gospel community has been tremendous. I used the song to minister to the youths especially, and to let them know that there is a better life out there for them” expressed Goddy Goddy. The noted Gospel figure who has been in the music business for over a decade and a half, cited that this project is “History in the making”!

“This has never been done before; a Bishop and his Wife and fellow members of the Congregation doing a Gospel medley on a Dancehall Riddim, this is big. I want to thank all the members of the Church who was a part of this project and helped to make it a reality”.

Rev. Goddy Goddy is looking forward to a few upcoming gigs  locally and overseas, and he will be performing his new single among his past hits.
