After captivating your ears with the single, Protoje and Chronixx now bring to you this visual for their hit single, “Who Knows”. Directed by Storm Saulter, the two artists bring out their conscious lyrics over the Winta James production while they take a trip, encounter a break down, bike back travelling, and a boat ride where they rock a Reggae party. Great sequence of events in this video and a very clean one as well. Check out the cameos in this one as well. Today’s new video comes from rising Reggae artist Ataru. Titled “African” and directed by Wayne South, we hear Ataru promoting his African roots, highlights the many places in Africa we could be from, a little history, and attributing his every move to that of an African. Not a bad video here but I love this single, looking forward to more from this artist. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
A few weeks ago, Vybz Kartel was not only found guilty of his crimes, but was also handed a life sentence. While many celebrated or felt disappointed, TVJ’s Anthony Miller released a documentary on the Dancehall Artist up to his sentencing. Titled “Dancehall Dark Star“, we see clips that chronicle Kartel’s journey from a new act working with Bounty Killa, his own fame, feuds and his arrest. If you were one of many who missed it, check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Khago was been hailed as one of Dancehall Music’s most promising acts. Releasing popular singles, Khago was a force to be reckoned with. However after management changes, Khago wasn’t as present on the scene as he should be so on Onstage he explained his situation to Winford Williams and more. He spoke about being lowkey, changes in management, touring, being a high demand overseas, his views on Dancehall currently, and preparing to flood the streets with new material. Khago is pretty busy overseas and that is good for promoting Jamaica’s music culture. As he said, check out youtube for tour highlights.
