Today’s new music comes from two veterans in Dancehall Music, Barrington Levy and Mr. Vegas. Titled “Love The Way She Love” and produced by Black Roses and Platinum Camp, we hear the two artists showing love and appreciation for their significant others. This single is a part of Barrington Levy’s first album in 20 years, “Licensed To Thrill“. This is not the first time I’m hearing Mr. Levy on autotune but it’s cool that he embraces modern styles and the collaboration with Mr. Vegas isn’t bad. What do you think? OLDIES SUNDAY: @GrungGaadZilla x @ABarringtonLevy – Living Dangerously (1995)


In recognition of Bounty Killa’s recent award presented to him by the Jamaica Star for “Dancehall Achievement” and Barrington Levy’s release of his first album in 20 years, “Licensed To Thrill“, I’ve decided to post their most popular collaboration. Titled “Living Dangerously” and produced by JahScrew in 1995, both artists talk about  a woman who has done them wrong by committing infidelity and she lives a dangerous life. They also advise her on what will happen when they leave, and she must better herself before it goes real bad for her. This was a great combination of Bounty Killa’s commanding voice and hard lyrics, and Barrington Levy’s signature crooning.
