The year couldn’t come to a close and not see at least one more track from Dancehall Artist, Alkaline. The Deejay has been busy throughout the year, and his fanbase continues to show up for him. While many may think his life is always glamourous, sometimes he needs an escape. He talks about it on “Relapse“.

Produced by Sartout Records/Autobamb Records, Alkaline seeks solace in “Relapse”. The Deejay speaks his mind on the track, delivering some of his episodes. Life has its share of trials and challenges, and Alka has seen his share of fake friends, betrayals, mental and physical battles, and he just wants better days and more success. Something different from the Detta Boss, another addition for the collectors, and more fuel for the detractors to discuss.

There’s a new Artist in town, and he is furious! Jamaican Comedian Kyng Tavii recently took the pleasure of introducing an Artist who will be creating a scene, and he goes by the name of “Clozpin“. Clozpin first made an appearance in the “Shhaat Him” video, but he’s here to take what is rightfully his. With the beat ready, he begins his tirade in the video for the track, “Call Name“.

Under the direction of Kyng Tavii and joined by Comedian Cuz and “VogueBoss” a.k.a. “Dangles“, Clozpin is heated, and is calling out the Artists who owe him. He shares that he has contributed to the development and success of some of your favourite Artists, and he is hellbent on destroying their careers, and taking his just due. He shares his scathing messages over the Instrumental for the 1996 Hip Hop classic “Hit ‘Em Up” by the late Tupac Shakur, which was a diss track aimed at the late Biggie Smalls. Clozpin also borrowed the track’s flow to send his points across. With high profile names called, we look forward to what will happen next as Clozpin means business.

People have been saying that Dancehall Artist Alkaline fell off. According to the streams and sold out shows, he’s doing well at the moment. While they talk, he gets busy with the music. Earlier, he released the new single, “Iz You“.

Produced by Sartout Records and Autobamb Records, Alkaline reaches out to the ladies on “Iz You”. He has been handling business on previous releases, so now it’s time to get the ladies’ attention. Alka is still slick with the lyrics, taps into a lil R&B/Pop vibes here, and production will have some slow wining on the dance floor. Since day 1, Dancehall Artist Alkaline has been a go-getter. Putting in the necessary work over the years, he has proven himself to be a heavyweight in the scene. His fanbase rivals some of your favourite Artists, and he from winning awards to selling out events, he has quieted the doubters and naysayers. You can say he “Mek Tingz Happen” like his latest single.

Produced by Autobamb Records and Grey Hut Production, Alkaline shares that he has made a lot happen for himself, and you can’t deny that he has been elevating his career and lifestyle in the 10+ years since his debut. He changes the delivery a little on “Mek Tingz Happen”, for those who still doubt him, check his numbers, and look at his past events including his yearly staging of “New Rules“. We expect Alka to release a lot more music in the coming weeks, and the fans can’t be mad at that. Pop Champagne to this one.

.@SartoutRecords Continues To Strive, And Build A Legacy

Western Jamaica-based Sartout Records is holding on strong, and making big moves even amidst challenging times. The label was originally started in the early 2010s by twin brothers Darren and Dane Sortie, and together they developed a sound that stood out on the scene, and built a respectable catalogue with Artists who went on to make indelible marks in Jamaican music. From building Riddims in their room to scoring the “Top Prize”, the twin producers took on the Industry with a strong determination to win. The duo took a chance on an upcoming Artist named Alkaline, and it paid off as he went on to become a Dancehall anomaly, and they have shared a strong working and personal friendship over the years. Sartout Records is currently down to one member, Darren, as Dane passed away in 2021 due to complications from Covid 19, but the label continues to thrive.

“The journey continues with Sartout Records despite losing Dane, and there’s a lot more in store as the label has been having some great years,” shared Darren Sortie in quick chat recently. “I’m just working on more things to further honour my brother and father (who passed away along with Dane due to Covid complications), and I’m excited to share them to the world. This year already got a taste of the Sartout sound on Alkaline’s “Boss”, “Motivation”, “Nah Laugh”, “Open A Brain”, and “Cya Tame”, and they have been doing well with the fans supporting them on Youtube, and on the major streaming platforms. Alkaline was an Artist we believed in from the start, so it’s a blessing that we’re still working together in 2023.”

Dancehall Artist Alkaline has been having a busy 2023, and we know the fans are not mad at that. From making moves in high fashion, to doing numbers on the music streaming platforms, to performing at sold out events, Alka is working. Keeping up with the consistency, he released the visual for the single, “Boss“.

The Autobamb Records/Sartout Records-produced “Boss” received positive feedback since its release earlier this year, and with a Diggz-directed visual, it just extended its shelf life. The video finds Alkaline enjoying life whether he’s sailing the Yacht, or chilling with the Goats and Llamas at the Petting Zoo, or just riding Quad Bikes with the crew. Sometimes you need to take a break from all the craziness. Alkaline continues to uphold his stance as one of the best out, and while he teases his rivals, he’s ensuring that his fans are well taken care of through the content. Is Alkaline your G.O.A.T.?
